No word from Mark yet. I assume he's been celebrating so we may not hear from him until tomorrow
This season has seen the two clubs most associated with Brian Clough (as a manager at least) leave the Championship in opposite directions. Whatever you think of Derby's financial misdemeanours, I'm deeply saddened to see them go down as they were my mother's club. I thought Wayne Rooney was a risky choice as manager but he has done a pretty good job in the circumstances. It looks like he's going to be staying there so I wish him luck for next season. |

Pleased for Forest - glad to see them back in the Premier League. I actually think out of the promoted clubs they might do the best - I would expect Cooper to be a bit more pragmatic, but certainly feel they need to recruit sensibly in the summer to help them. Won't help losing a few of their best players on loan either.
