This week I will start by thanking the following 6 people who viewed and commented on my personal chart last week: Sergej, JSG, K👠th, Sven10, danuary and Road Salt Mixer. Responses to your comments are in the below post. Now we are into 2021 it is time to look to the future and what music will be taking centre stage during another lockdown. Its no change at the top this week as Shane Codd racks up yet another week at #1. Moving up into second place this week is Rina Sawayama with her infectious single LUCID which was just added to Radio 1s C-List! It is no wonder then that this song is my Track of the Week. Moving into the Top 5 this week is Ava Max with My Head & My Heart, another fine pop song. Prisoner holds a steady position remaining at #5. Also climbing into the Top 10 is Nathan Dawe & Little Mix, up 9 places to #8. 4 new entries this week, and the highest comes from former Masked Singer Sophie Ellis-Bexter. The singer recently released a greatest hits album and has gained a bit of popularity in the last couple of weeks thanks to some TV performances. Crying At The Discotheque, originally by Alcazar, is this weeks #10. Kylie Minogue also makes a belated late entry with Say Something along with her new remixed single with Dua Lipa. The last new entry comes from Troye Sivan. This weeks Biggest Climber award goes to No Time For Tears and All Youre Dreaming Of is the latest victim to be given the Biggest Faller award, dropping a mammoth 27 places this week and also dropping out of the chart altogether. Along with Liam Gallagher, the Top 40 Countdown bids farewell to Becky Hill (twice) and Sleepwalkrs. Thank you for stopping by to take a look at my personal chart this week. Comments are welcomed of course, and I hope I can make time to take a look at your personal charts also both for future inspiration and to acknowledge your hard work at putting it together too! "

Hi Wardy! Hi Sergej! Nice to see "Get Out My Head" return to the top, nice to see "Prisoner" in the top 5, as well as the high debut for "LUCID" into the top 10! I also like the big gain for "My Head & My Heart" and the debut for "Watch Your Step"! Great chart! So pleased you are enjoying what is at the top of my charts at the moment! All the songs you mentioned have either climbed or held steady for another week which is great to see! Thank you for your comment! Hey Wardy! Hi James! Get Out My Head napping the #1 now Another #1 I approve of it's fantastic albeit, not doing much on my own chart apparently Hmm is Regardless gonna go back to #1 here? I can see it. Should be entering my chart soon! Ahhh Becky at least she managed one week at #1! So, I had an epiphany with Prisoner last week in work. Someone was playing it and it clicked for me yay! And it clicked hard btw. I am absolutely loving it right now. Lucid yass! That's another one that will be entering my chart soon! Has it released officially? I'm surprised it isn't top 40 if it has! Levitating is climbing which if course you know because it's your chart Gold so close to the top 10. I can taste it. I honestly don't understand why Paloma has had such a hard time doing anything this era. I get that Better Than This isn't to everyone's taste but that can't have put a damper on Gold's success surely? Even the album went top 5. I am stumped! I Miss U is finally coming for me on Wednesday. Not really enjoying this one as much as I expected sadly. Fantastic chart! Glad youre approving of my #1 still! I wouldnt rule out Regardless nabbing the #1 spot again soon though. Becky did indeed manage her festive week at the top, but it was always going to be a bit of a novelty, but shes still up there at the moment at least. Brilliant about your Prisoner epiphany. Ill definitely be looking out for LUCID making an entry on your chart soon, its really clicked with me right now! Maybe Gold could make the Top 10 as its climbed every week it has been in the chart so far and getting closer... Thank you for your comment! Wardy! Here's what I'm liking this week: Hi Kath! 1. Shane Codd Get Out My Head [1-1-2-3-2-1->6] 2. RAYE & Rudimental Regardless [4-2-1-1-3-2->6] 4. CamelPhat feat. LOWES Easier [11-13-9-7-6-4->6] 5. Miley Cyrus feat. Dua Lipa Prisoner [27-20-5->3] BIGGEST CLIMBER 6. Rina Sawayama LUCID [6->1] HIGHEST NEW ENTRY 9. Dua Lipa feat. DaBaby Levitating [6-5-3-11-10-9->6] 11. Ava Max My Head & My Heart [27-27-24-21-11->5] 16. Eric Prydz NOPUS [19-10-7-6-11-16->6] 17. Nathan Dawe feat. Little Mix No Time For Tears [17-17->2] 20. Bicep Apricots [7-7-12-19-18-20->6] 21. KC Lights Girl [2-3-6-8-12-21->6] 22. Bicep feat. Clara La San Saku [3-6-8-12-14-22->6] 23. Paul Woolford & Diplo feat. Kareen Lomax Looking For Me [13-11-13-13-22-23->6] 24. High Contrast feat. LOWES Rhythm Is Changing [17-19-20-25-24->5] 29. Lady Gaga 911 [30-28-29->3] 30. Solardo & Rowetta Enough [21-21-33-30->4] 31. London Grammar Baby It's You [Kolsch Remix] [25-24-24-28-27-31->6] 32. Disclosure & Kelis Watch Your Step [32->1] 33. Diplo & SIDEPIECE On My Mind [35-36-39-X-39-33->5] 37. Disciples I Got You [14-9-10-14-26-37->6] BIGGEST FALLER 39. Becky Hill & Sigala Heaven On My Mind [24-21-25-29-35-39->6] That climb for Prisoner *.* A very solid top two. Easier has been creeping up on me again recently with that massive chorus. Also happy to see Levitating having another run in your top 10 Prisoner is definitely one of my favourites at the moment, and holding steady for another week! I think Easier has peaked for me now so expect it to gradually fall down the chart. Same with Levitating unfortunately, so just have to see how it fairs. Thank you for your comment! Hi Awa, Hi Sven! Happy New Year!! Shane Codd up again to the hot spot Miley/Dua and Rina Top 10 Ava Max Top 20 . 3 nice new entries. Best one from David Guetta Shane is indeed again at the hot spot! Great that youre a fan of Prisoner and LUCID. Ava Max is now Top 5! Thank you for your comment! hi Wardy! Hi Dan! Shane Codd seems to be racking up a very lengthy top 3 run then, unfortunately the song still isn't grabbing me but 'Regardless' is starting to climb my chart again so hopefully that can return to #1 soon if CamelPhat or Miley can't manage to get there. I'm not familiar with Rina Sawayama's music but I heard 'Lucid' through plug.dj and it is a rather good dance bop. I gather most of her material isn't like this however. Great to see Disclosure/Kelis and David Guetta/Morten enter the chart here too. Watch Your Step was easily a highlight of that last album and David Guetta's Dreams rework is rather good, doesn't seem like it'll get any chart traction though given the original version is still very popular. From your entries last week 'Want You' is sounding quite good on a skim, will add that to my playlist to give a proper listen as with this new Ava Max track which seems a bit more dancey than her previous singles. 'No Time For Tears' is a rather good effort from Nathan Dawe and Little Mix too. I also enjoyed 'Forever Young' although I dropped that from my playlist with the Christmas clearout. You may start to notice my chart taking a somewhat pop turn in recent weeks, that doesnt mean that my interest in dance has changed, it is just that little has grabbed me in recent weeks, but maybe some new and exciting material is on the horizon from the likes of Love Regenerator and Solardo! It is very plausible that Regardless will leapfrog Shane Codd again soon. But LUCID is now very much in the mix too! Hope you enjoy Want You it is quite good, and Im pleased to say that Watch Your Step and Dreams have both climbed this week. Thank you for your comment! Dreams and Mad World are both very good dance covers! Hi Snake! Dreams is certainly the better of the two covers in my opinion and it climbs this week, whereas Mad World has dropped slightly. Thank you for your comment! |

Hi Dan! Yeah, I do hope we get a bit more on the release schedule soon, though it is always dry around Christmas and New Year. It's why there's a load of songs with 10+ weeks and even 20+ weeks in my chart at the moment. There won't be many new entries in the top half of my chart this week anyhow. Although 'Regardless' is looking to climb into my top 40 this week, 'Lucid' should keep climbing too although maybe not top 40 this week. Hopefully this forthcoming Love Regenerator track is great then. You may start to notice my chart taking a somewhat pop turn in recent weeks, that doesnt mean that my interest in dance has changed, it is just that little has grabbed me in recent weeks, but maybe some new and exciting material is on the horizon from the likes of Love Regenerator and Solardo! Hope you enjoy Want You it is quite good, and Im pleased to say that Watch Your Step and Dreams have both climbed this week. Thank you for your comment! I quite like 'Want You' although I'm not sure if it stands out enough to put it in my chart. |

Hi Wardy!
Somewhat surprisingly I've not heard Crying At The Discotheque yet so putting that right now! It sounds very 00s pop, not grabbing me right away which is a shame but maybe it will grow? Great to see new peaks for Gold and Golden as well, the latter has reached a new peak in my chart this week as well albeit a lot lower than in yours. Great chart |

Hey Wardy!
Get Out My Head with that second week at the top *.* Now, my chart is undergoing a stem change from Monday, so that chart will look a bit out of whack but... New songs should enter near the bottom and climb to their peaks instead of peaking week 1 and falling the straight away. Longer chart runs are coming yay! Anyway, this one should benefit and be top 10 I think. Lucid *.* I'm yet to enter this but I suspect it will have a massive chart run. I adore it, just have to get round to actually charting it Prisoner holding at #5 such a good bop. I'm so happy to see it doing well officially too. Something In Your Eyes still top 10 I don't know if I expected that or a climb! Either way, I'm happy Gold still climbing yaaaaaaay. Golden still climbing I'm almost positive this gets added to my rotative playlist on Monday Fantastic chart! |

Hi Wardy!
Nice to see "LUCID" in the top 3 at #4, as well as ""My Head & My Heart" in the top 5 and "No Time For Tears" being the highest climber. I also like seeing "Real Groove" debuting in your chart! Great chart! |

Hi Wardy, great to see LUCID contending number one this week! I'm struggling to get into Get Out My Head but reckon one day something will hit and I'll love it. Love also seeing Raye, LM, Steps and SEB in the top 10 (also loving the orange/pink/purple colour palette of most the covers)
Defo a few tracks here that I'll have to check out, great chart! |

Hey Wardy!
Loving the top ten new entry for 'Crying At The Discotheque' - it doesn't sound that different to the original but that's no bad thing! Also great to see the Kylie entries - 'Real Groove' is easily my favourite song on the album (not bothered either way about the Dua addition). Did you chart 'Magic' too at some point? Swap numbers 3 and 4 round and that would be an INCREDIBLE top 3 Becky Hill and Steps are my other top ten highlights Excellent chart! I wonder if Rina will be able to dethrone Shane Codd next week? |
