I've compiled 2 Chart Trivia Lists, due to Paul Weller having his 5th UK No.1 Solo Album, with 'On Sunset'.

It is only his 5th Week at No.1, in the UK Album Chart - out of 5 No.1's. It does not sound very many. However,
The Jam only had 1 UK No.1 Album - 'The Gift' (1982) - and that was No.1 for just 1 Week. He also had a 1 No.1
Album, with Style Council, in 1985 - 'Our Favourite Shop'. That too was only No.1 for 1 Week.

UK MALE SOLO ACTS - 4 OR MORE - UK NUMBER 1 ALBUMS

(Weeks At Number 1 In Brackets)

(W/E 28th July 1956 to W/E 16th July 2020)

01).. ROBBIE WILLIAMS - 13 (36W)

02).. DAVID BOWIE - 11 (27W)

03).. ROD STEWART - 10 (32W)

04)= CLIFF RICHARD - 7 (Includes 3 No.1’s with The Shadows) (30W)
04)= ELTON JOHN - 7 (Includes 1 No.1 with PNAU) (29W)
04)= PAUL McCARTNEY - 7 (Includes 1 No.1 with Linda McCartney & 2 No.1’s with Wings) (17W)
04)= GEORGE MICHAEL – 7 (17W)

08).. PHIL COLLINS - 6 (26W)

09).. PAUL WELLER – 5 (5W)

Thanks Colin! The fact that The Jam only ever had one week at the top of the albums chart is one of those surprising facts we all love!
