Welcome to the Green Room for the 97th edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest. After their win last contest with the superb Haide by Helena Paparizou, Daehun have invited us to their fantastic nation for the final of BJSC 97, but not before a pit stop at ally nation The Actual Republic of Bellamia.

I am doing a rare recycle of an artist sent just this year actually, I couldn't not when I saw they had new material out though and this is just as good as their previous entry here 
Have quite high hopes for this one actually! (I know that's risky to say)

Tempted to either go "slutty k-pop remake of an unused Kylie demo" route or a Children of the Sun type song without vocals. Or power pop ballad. Not sure.

Woop woop x I have my entry but I need to make an edit of it before I confirm so probably waiting until Monday/Tuesday. Just going to cut out a minute of my song which has some growly metal vocals which I have grown to enjoy but they don't really fit the rest of the song too well and I don't want them to put any of the few people who might like this song off 
but still going to be my longest entry to date even with that one minute taken out #longsongbloc Expecting another DNQ but I am feeling risky again anyway *.* have something a bit safer for the next contest.
Casually sending black metal to a contest hosted by Bellamia xx (I promise it's not as scary as that genre makes it sound, it's a really beautiful track similar to Terra Avium's Kitchen entry albeit a bit heavier)

Still undecided on what to send. Toying with sending something more experimental, but I don't think I'll go female pop again after finishing outside the Top 20 with something I thought had the potential to go Top 10.

I'll be away on the day of the final so I'm going for some American indie which probably won't qualify. I have dance and then pop lined up for 98 and 99 which will hopefully have a better chance.

i've got a load of potentials this month but I think it's gonna come down to two and I can't pick between them. One is totally what you'd expect from Taahino, a female fronted pop rock bop the other is an urban sounding summer-y thing, pretty poppy too I guess? idek

Buzzjack has a number of rules. One of the is that Brett Butler has to post a clip from Yes Minister every two or three months or so. Another is that I have to post the at the mention of a particular song.
