It's either that or the interest in the first place wasn't that high and media just ran away with "sources" like they usually do. Saw an interesting article about SkySports "sources" and how so very often they turn out to be bullshit but not until SkyBet has made a killing

Of course he never mentioned Man Utd, but I think it was pretty likely. The club has come out and said their was interest but it has now "cooled". To me I think Grizemann has told them no for now. Also never trust Sky Sports  The only sources I trust are BBC, local news reporters and the broadsheet press. Sky sources are usually rehashed stories from foreign tabloid papers.

But he's a marquee signing so I can see you going back to him regardless. Van Dijk looks like he's coming to Liverpool (raiding Southampton again  ). £60m the reported figure. A lot of money, but a real coupe to potentially beat Chelsea and City to the signing.

If i were a betting man I'd say he's back off to Chelsea. He gave an interview yesterday that had the MEN convinced Chelsea was his destination
