Bit premature. Tbf though if the label aren't competent enough to handle the release, they probably aren't competent enough to recover it successfully. My Oh My needs to be pushed ASAP with new single mixes and all. Hopefully she has some UK promo. Syco should be trying harder since she's their only artist these days. She’s been on Graham Norton and Micheal McIntyre! The only other show she could do is Strictly (Syco acts never) |

Senorita should've been the lead single and the album should've been released in late October. So many artists did the "joint" single, especially here in the UK, so why in the world didn't her label make sure it serves as the lead single? You could literally see the signs of smashing the first day it was released.
I've never witnessed a messier era. So many songs thrown out there for nothing. Liar obviously didn't work, they should've focused on Easy, but instead they released Living Proof and pushed that one when it's obviously the least hit worthy song of the songs released pre-album. Just f***ing dumb. |

Just f***ing dumb. Liar could have worked but releasing it with 'Shameless', and then the constant promo singles, whilst also having 'Señorita' and 'South of the Border' knocking about — a mess. The album reminds me of something bland that a popstar would have thrown together in 2007. I imagine they’ll move on quickly. This post has been edited by blacksquare: 10th December 2019, 12:06 PM |

The album is projected to end up at #13 in the UK, we’ll see. Its streaming is actually quite strong (so far it’s 5th when it comes to albums with most streaming units in the mids), but relatively poor pure sales is hurting her.
I have to say, I enjoy the album! Outside of the songs released in advance, I’m really liking Should’ve Said It, Dream of You, Used to This and First Man. Pre-released songs... I like Easy and Living Proof the best. Funnily enough Living Proof has the best reception on Popjustice forum, but doesn’t seem popular here. Personally I think she (well, her label) made a mistake by releasing Liar & Shameless at the same time. Liar clearly had potential, but releasing too many songs in quick succession probably had a hand in dulling her being able to impact with one clearly defined single. Of all the other pre-album release songs, I actually think Living Proof has the most potential... but it was never going to do anything as the 5th song released. If the album does end up at #1 in the US, then label/management will probably not consider the pre-released songs strategy as having been messy. |

Ive finally managed to listen to most the album on my own accord (and not whilst Im working/unable to concentrate) and I'm liking the album. It's just a bit... mid-tempo/ballad heavy. It just feels like a lot coz there's barely any She Loves Control/Into It's in the middle to break it up.

Feel it Twice and Dream of You were my standouts from this and also First Man.
I’ll be in the minority though Up to #15 in today’s midweeks though up one place. I take it she’s streaming well. She might overtake a few more albums before Friday. She’s overtook Kylie and Liam Payne is just one place ahead of her today so she could surpass him. |

#14 for a December release is pretty good!
I’m fairly confident there’ll be some form of longevity for this campaign too. Expecting a big drop this week and perhaps next week too but once we get into January she’ll be hanging around the chart thanks to streams what may only get bigger if we get promo and good single choices. Also seen was #23 on sales and #5 on streams. Was fairly sure she’d be the type of artist who’d do better on streams. This post has been edited by Jordan Lee: 13th December 2019, 11:16 PM |

#14 isn't bad, I was totally expecting this to peak at #26 or something.

This will likely "Do a Rita Ora - Phoenix" tbh. I can see a middling-big 2nd week drop, but sustaining it's positon for a few weeks at the lower end of the top 40/upper top 50, climbing again as MOM takes off but not quite repeaking and doing decently in the long run.
*has a huge 2nd week drop and fails to recover :') * --- But yes. MOM is amaze. So addictive and smooth. The TRUE successor to Havana! |

'My Oh My' is really good, nice to hear that after the shower of mediocrity that has been everything else from this era.

That is respectable in the US.
If the album can maintain a steady chart run in the UK it will help build sales. I hope it doesn't experience a huge drop this week. |
