Can 'Under the Influence' climb much higher soon please, such a good follow up 'Formation' is probably the best Beyonce track I've heard so pleased to see that high up! Good chart Liam

Good to see 'All Four Walls' as the highest new entry, I just wish it would replicate that success officially cos it's such a great song. The chorus is catchy as hell! 'Lemonade' is actually a surprisingly good album, so I'm not surprised at how well it's doing. That said, I do struggle to listen to it all the way through, but my clear favourites are Daddy Lessons, All Night and Hold Up - the latter of which should really be the single, I don't know what they're doing going with 'Sorry' I'm still not keen on 'Formation' either, I wouldn't even put it in the top half of the album! In any case it's good to see it doing so well, that and Drake are providing the shot in the arm that the album chart needs at the moment. Good stuff

Good chart Liam I'd seen the song floating about on iTunes and had been intending to check it out for a while; should have done so much sooner! Reminds me slightly of Alan Walker's 'Faded' with the whole electronic ballad thing; definitely have a soft spot for dance music that's haunting and a sense of poignancy. It should continue its ascend up my chart in coming weeks. I completely agree about it being a good follow up; just shows a different side to her whilst still being in-keeping with her country/blue sound. Shows her to be a more credible artist than, as much as I like it too, 'American Sweetheart' would, which is the current single in some other countries (UK is always behind!). 'Formation' gets played all the time at work! Such a fierce anthem; big shame it has lost its chance to be a chart hit, but the album has an array of potential singles which would be lapped up by radio, so I'm sure there will be some hits to make up for it. Hi James! 'Crying for No Reason' was a great single that saw her cross genres and audience big time and it's a shame her career didn't go to the next level after that (they did try by releasing 'Still' but had little luck, maybe it was too similar?). Still, I think Katy is definitely making the music she wanted and this album will help establish herself as a credible artist, even if she does receive no commercial success, although I hope 'I Wanna Be' is the song to turn that around if it does get released as a single. The album release has been the first time I've properly been able to listen to 'Formation', although I wasn't all that keen on the occasions Radio 1 played it (don't know why though, it's so fierce!). The whole album is great and full of single-worthy material - 'Sorry' seems a very good choice, I imagine "middle fingers up...wave it in his face, tell him, boy, bye" will be widely quoted! I know what you mean regarding 'Kiss It Better' because I feel that too, although at the same time, I think it does work as a subtle and I can't imagine anything else working. I feel it sounds much like an album track, but as one of the more commercial sounding tracks on the album, it kinda had to be a single. Sia made it! 'Alive' and 'Chandelier' made #1 on my chart but there's a number of other her songs that would have been #1 worthy, on hindsight. Took me a while to appreciate 'YOUTH'. I was very much invested in the likes of 'WILD' and 'TALK ME DOWN' so when this cheery, party song came along, I hate to say I passed it off as generic. Gorgon City deserve a lot more appreciation in general tbh; they make much more interesting and foremost enjoyable dance music than your Guettas and Aviciis. Totally agree on your latter point; it's nice to see people really invested in albums, particularly with Beyonce who has made her album not just a collection of songs but a journey for the listener with a concept and visuals to go with.
