I don't see anything wrong with the first post, I mean it's basically just guesswork from the midweeks anyway, hardly spoilers and it's definitely not guaranteed to be correct. Also, when I've gone to look at old chart show threads, they work really well as a brief summary so I know which one I'm looking at!

A huge end of an era today of course, will be quite sad to not have the chart on a Sunday afternoon! Clara will be missed as the chart show host too, I think she's been a more than worthy presenter following the amazing Jameela jameela.jpg

My point is that not everyone enjoys midweeks as they spoil the chart. So they get frustrated just as you would if someone blurted out a twitter rumour about who is #1

I know its already been mentioned but I love how dance tracks have been number one in historic charts!

Oliver Heldens got the last sales only number one and hopefully Lost Frequencies will hold on and get the last Sunday chart number one!

I remember hearing my first top 40 back in 1999 with the amazing Mark Goodier hosting (no one can/has/will ever come close to bettering!) and I lived by it religiously all through my childhood so today is a sad day but then again I've only listened to a handful of charts in the last year due to the serious lack of movement...

End of an era, I'm not sure what to say. Jester, you've done some fantastic work over the years and that RATM week is a particular highlight reading it now.

Some fantastic tracks in the retros there, from Chandelier to A Sky Full Of Stars to Wavin' Flag to Feel Good Inc to Sandstorm, a great picture of the legacy Sunday charts have had.

They could still play the #41 but at the start of the chart maybe but unlikely as I know they've skipped this feature before when there's been some special theme or event on the radio

On the subject of the retros, can I just go back and live in 2000 forever! That was my year for music and so many great chart memories wub.gif
