No awfull either, but a lot of average with no winning chances. I've listened to the other two now so will update my list with comments;
Brilliant N/A Great 01 Norway: Didrik Solli-Tangen - My Heart Is Yours - You Raise Me Up crossed with I'll Leave My Heart but very good 02 Iceland: Hera - Je Ne Sais Quoi - as generic as Euro-schlager comes but I like it a lot Very Good 03 Denmark: Chanée & N´evergreen -A Moment Like This - quite anthemic actually after a few listens 04 Cyprus: Jon Lilygreen & The Islanders - Life Looks Better In Spring quite contemporary, I can imagine hearing this on the radio Good 05 Switzerland: Michael von der Heide - Il Pleut de L'or not bad at all Average 06 Finland: Kuunkuiskaajat - Työlki Ellää can't get properly into it but it's not bad 07 Albania: Juliana Pasha - Nuk Mundam Pa Ty completely average Awful 08 Netherlands: Sieneke - Ik Ben Verliefd (Sha-La-Lie) terrible, sounds like fairground music mixed with a Eurovision flop from the 70's I can definitely see why some people hate Eurovision based on the 8 songs confirmed so far - 4 of them are so typical of the 'Eurovision' sound, it's almost like they asked John Barrowman for advice on what makes a good Eurovision entry...although I like half of them, if the rest of the songs are as pedestrian and generic as this lot (Finland excepted) then it won't be a particularly classic contest at all

Great 02 Switzerland: Michael von der Heide - Il Pleut De L'or (I love the backing vocals and general retro-classiness of it all) 03 Denmark: Chanée & N´evergreen -A Moment Like This (Very catchy, loving it now!) 04 Norway: Didrik Solli-Tangen - My Heart Is Yours (The last minute is a goosebump moment) Good 05 Finland: Kuunkuiskaajat - Työlki Ellää (Fun!) Average 06 Albania: Juliana Pasha - Nuk Mundam Pa Ty (The electropoppy version is great, the jazzy version is awful) 07 Netherlands: Sieneke - Ik Ben Verliefd (Sha-La-Lie) (Chirpy, will grow on me for sure. I love Didrik's song - but then I also regard You Raise Me Up to be one of the few highlights of Westlife's awful career - oh and of course the fact that I loved this song which is essentially exactly the same;

Terry Wogan got my hopes up though when he wrongly announced Cyndi as the winner of Making Your Mind Up

Looking at all of those rankings, and different Eurovision fan-sites, I think Denmark could do very well this year. Everyone apart from Pavel seems to like it
