In a way it's understandable.
There was a lot of resentment when Darius was seen to be successful in their field. There was a lot of pent up resentment about "names" without the training and experience taking parts others had worked towards for years - a lot of that came spewing out aimed at Darius because he was the highest profile at that time. Perhaps they thought they'd be the main stars of the Christmas lights show and now Darius has been added. He may even be last on stage before the switch on - that would rankle. They're starring in Kingston upon Thames over Christmas, he has no link. |

Well, I live near by. That should count. I like to see Darius perform - I think a lot more would come to see him that them.

yup, that would rankle them - I can understand jealousy and resentment from such people who have worked a long time as actors, who suppose perhaps he has been propelled into the limelight for nothing more than being an x factor show - it is a shame, because Darius has been around ten years, has worked hard, continually proves he has the talent and is of no less importance than them.

I don't care what his opinion of Darius is. He's entitled to express it. It was the use of the hash tag that annoyed me. It's used to try to make things trend on twitter.
2 tweets attached to a hash don't make much of a trend though. |

it was that that annoyed me tbh, i dont know why he felt the need to use the hash- would be nice if his opinion changed on meeting darius, it just gets under my skin when people feel the need to do the obligatory putdown of darius just so to look cool or more superior - unless he is embarrassed to having to be dressed as a muskateer, which would concern me more lol

A mention last night in a piece on fashion about Anne Ferguson in the EveningTimes.
Last purchase? A tailcoat from Zara which I bought for going to London to see my good friend Darius in the final of ITV show Popstar to Operastar. I call it my lucky tailcoat because he won. |
