Nothing for Azerbaijan and only two for Germany in favour of the dated predictability at the top? madness!

I expect on the night the UK'll give 8/10 to Germany and probably about 5 to Azerbaijan. I was annoyed when we only gave AySel and Arash 3 last year .

Quick summary:
12pts to a neighbor/former winner, points to four out of five nordic countries (just not Finland), points to two of three other big 4 countries (just not France), and points to two balkan countries. Points to the host. No points to any former-Soviet Union countries. And 8/10 of the countries OGAE UK voted for would be considered Western Europe. Four songs can certainly be considered ballads. Two songs aren't in English, plus a tiny bit of French in the Icelandic song. |

I expect on the night the UK'll give 8/10 to Germany and probably about 5 to Azerbaijan. I was annoyed when we only gave AySel and Arash 3 last year . We always tend to vote for Germany anyway for some reason. I know in the noughties we voted for them in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 2006, 2007 and 2009. Only Gracia and No Angels failed to get our support in fact I reckon Lena's a shoe in for something at the very least, and I'm guessing no less than 6, considering we managed to give 7 points to Miss Kiss Kiss Bang I know these OGAE things are almost always wrong but In A Moment Like This would be such a retro winner, nothing unique about it at all like most of our recent winners even though I do like it a lot! |

Oikotimes not revealing their full set of votes All we know from them is that the 12pts went like this:
FYR Macedonia -> Croatia Luxembourg -> Germany Greece -> Spain And Germany takes the lead Ok, I admit, it's only a joint lead, but still... |

Macedonia being a bit over generous to Josh there, 0 points would be more fitting Shocked at 36th place for Serbia

Dire song, I definitely haven't been able to force myself into it Same with the UK entry |

What's surprising me the most is how Azerbaijan have fared so far. Maybe it won't be the big Eurovision success story after all, but I still think 'Drip Drop' is by far one of this years best entries. At least Germany is getting a good deal of support.
As for the UK...I smell a Jemini. Nice!!! |
