Posted June 28, 201015 yr mWoUgftTj3Y ------------- Clue: Social Networking, it's become absolutely huge over the last few years. Even Lady BuzzJack herself has accounts....
July 2, 201015 yr WHAT i just found out that david fincher is directing this, it was written by some guy who wrote for the west wing, and trent reznor is doing the score after reading the script? :| jk this is probably going to be seriously good. i'm incredibly curious to see wtf it'll be like tho.
July 2, 201015 yr Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross doing the score :D from nin.com: I was planning on taking some time off after the continual waves of touring that ended last fall and spend this year experimenting around with what would become How To Destroy Angels and some new NIN. Well, that plan didn't work out so well. David Fincher started inquiring about my interest in scoring his upcoming film, The Social Network. Yeah, the movie about the founding of Facebook. I've always loved David's work but quite honestly I wondered what would draw him to tell that story. When I actually read the script and realized what he was up to, I said goodbye to that free time I had planned. Atticus Ross and I have been on a creative roll so I asked him if he wanted to work on this with me and we signed on. Months later, I'm happy to tell you we're nearing the completion of this and I couldn't be happier with how it's turned out. The level of excellence that David operates on is inspiring and the entire process has been challenging and truly enjoyable. As Atticus and I near the end of the scoring process, we're looking forward to the next phase - distilling the large amount of music we've written for this down to a satisfying record (or two). The film opens Oct 1 in the US with the record likely available a couple of weeks ahead of that. Speaking of the film... it's really f***ing good. And dark! posted by Trent Reznor at 6:40pm will probaly see this on the basis of that lol, well i'll be getting the soundtrack for sure :P

I know, still doesn't stop the teaser from being $h!t and absolutely laughable. I just hope that with such talent behind it, the film itself will be measurably better. July 12, 201015 yr I don't know.. it's a good concept, but I just don't think it works for a movie?..
July 19, 201015 yr Well this looks utterly dreadful. unless you look at the last 4 films the director has made... # Fight Club (1999) # Panic Room (2002) # Zodiac (2007) # The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) and the fact Trent Reznor says its awesome ^_^
September 15, 201014 yr "And holy $h!t is Atticus Ross & Trent Reznor’s score amazing. It’s a little rock and roll, a little electronic, a little everything, but it all mixes together to make a score that didn’t just sit idly in the background as the movie played. Ross & Reznor’s score helps form the identity of the film, a complete surprise for me. Along with Hans Zimmer’s INCEPTION score this has a shot for ending up as my favorite of the year." --- "Atticus Ross & Trent Reznor's score [is] amazing The score by Trent Reznor is spare and effective, and really builds a mood over the course of the film.. " --- The most surprising element of the film was the score. Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails did the entire thing and it was exceptional. I was taken aback at points where it added true gravity to the scenes, almost providing suspense on its own accord. It was so good that I’m seriously considering buying the score which is something I’ve only done on a few occasions in the past. --- I hear the score is pretty good.
September 15, 201014 yr so there's really a movie about facebook... I thought people were joking about it :P
September 16, 201014 yr The actual real story behind the "Facebook Phenomenon" is nowhere near as interesting as this film makes out.....  Okay, I've heard of "dramatic licence", but come on, this is taking the p!ss..... :P
September 16, 201014 yr This looks properly AMAZING. Also Andrew Garfield is in it and it looks like it's a hell of a performance. Can't wait to see it.
September 22, 201014 yr It is 100% on rotten tomatoes after 7 reviews, now lets look at some of these reviews... "half the time I sat there marveling at the similarities of the story, themes and structure to Citizen Kane." "The Social Network is the movie of the year. If Coppola were into computers, this would be The Godfather." all positive reviews and comparisons to Citizen Kane and The Godfather. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the-social-network/ it's gonna be good.
September 23, 201014 yr Author After reading the above, I have to say I am quite looking forward to this. Knowing me I probably wont go to see it -_-
September 23, 201014 yr I saw the trailer months ago and thought it looked awful. However this time I noticed Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake and now I'm interested. I still don't think it's a very good premise for a film but I wouldn't mind going to find out!
