Will be nice to see Moneypenny back. Will be slightly odd not to see Samantha Bond in the role as I only started with the Brosnan movies.

Samantha Bond was absolutely brilliant (such a good actress in everything I've seen her in) but she took it a bit personality that they wanted to reboot the series and didn't want Brosnan back I think. I seem to remember she said she'd only go back if he did. And as we know he didn't.

If somebody would like to rename this topic Skyfall (Bond 23) it would be much appreciated seeing as that's been announced as the name of this film at the press conference held today. MUCH EXCITE.
Daniel Craig and Judi Dench are joined by Naomie Harris (playing a field agent called Eve), Javier Bardem (playing a villainous role), Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, French actress Bérénice Marlohe and British screen legend Albert Finney (in his first role in five years). Helen McCrory from Harry Potter (Narcissa Malfoy) was rumoured to be in there too but no mention during the press conference. Locations used include Scotland, Shanghai and Istanbul. M seems to have a central role and the plot loosely revolves around something from her past which comes back to haunt her and tests Bond's loyalty to her. Sam Mendes directing. MUCH EXCITE MUCH EXCITE MUCH EXCITE. |

I'm not getting my hopes up, QoS was utterly dreadful and I wasn't overly keen on Casino Royale either, but I am going to go into it with an open mind whenever we do eventually get it.

That looks ...
Yeah, I can't really base anything on it. It's obviously similar in tone to the last 2 which isn't a great start for me, but if it has enough of a story I'll be happy enough with it. |
