In a couple of weeks, I'll start putting short clips - 30secs - 1 min long, from the tour. If you could let me know your favourite songs, I'll see if I can put a clip of the most popular on youtube and facebook (unofficial)

 Excellent, well done Meg I'd deduced from your posts that you'd been able to film the show but didn't want to post about it until you mentioned it. It's great that we have a permanent record of the show

Well, Darius and his manager will - we just get to put out the small clips. But it is good to have, not perfect but then I'd need to be a professional with a professional camera and then it may still not be.

My favourite is 'Feeling Good' - the Eastbourne version was brilliant. I don't know whether to go for my fave bit or the bit the girls will like - the squeals from the audience were amusing. I'll probably be selfish though and go for my favourite - unless I'm feeling a lot better person than I am at the moment.

I suppose anything is better than nothing - Dave's been away for the weekend. I've just gad a phone call to say he's not well but someone will be driving him home tonight. Sounds like one of those gastric viruses. Not good for travelling home a couple of hundred miles or so.

I've been sorting clips out. Because Darius arranged for me to film, Eastbourne is by far the best. Woking I have nothing from but did get to watch the show. Brighton, I had bright, white light syndrome. Sometimes I didn't even bother to film as it obviously wouldn't work but hava about 4 clips that are usable although not good. Wimbledon stopped me from filming even though I had Darius' and Brian's permission. Altogether, about 17 clips, mostly about 1 min long. Some songs have multiple clips because they went down so well and worked in different venues. I'm hoping to put up one a week until the show starts again. It's interesting seeing how the song matured through the run. It ended up as a fantastic performance by everyone.
I don't know whether to put clips of just the band or just Nova up as well. |

By the time the tour got to Eastbourne, there were 18 songs sung by Darius. I was really glad to see the first and the last of that leg of the tour as you saw how it developed. I've not included any that Darius wasn't the centre of. Those 18 were:-

I very much regret not booking much earlier and getting a good seat in the stalls instead of back row of the third tier. I shouldn't have been so angsty about the style of the music although I admit I did lose some interest during the instrumentals and Nova's bits but I did manage not to fidget too much. |
