Posted November 27, 201014 yr http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/4381/220pxgodisadjcover.jpg God Is a DJ was the second single released from Pink's third album, Try This, in 2003. It was written by Pink, Jonathan Davis, Billy Mann and released on 26th January 2004. It is about letting go, loving life and living it to the fullest. It features the metaphorical phrase "If God is a DJ/Life is a dance floor/Love is a rhythm/You are the music". It peaked at number six in the Dutch Top 40 and number eleven on the UK Singles Chart. The song appears on the soundtrack of the 2004 film Mean Girls. The music video for this song features Pink in prostitute-esque clothing, and features scenes of Pink and others (assumed to be her roommates) getting dressed, having fun a subway, and going to a nightclub. P!nk then continues to bribe the bouncer (dressed in eccentric drag clothing) to enter the nightclub ahead of the queue. The video debuted on MTV's Total Request Live at number ten on January 22, 2004 and peaked at number six. Peak Positions: Australia ARIA Singles Chart - 24 Australia Airplay Chart - 3 Dutch Top 40 - 6 UK Singles Chart - 11 U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play - 17 U.S. Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles - 3 GutBg1aL7og
