I'm just wondering what the 'something' will be.
I'm hoping a new album and a tour. But I have a feeling it might be a Greatest Hits with a few new songs and a tour, followed by them ending things for good. Hmm.. |

I think (PRAY) that the tour is a given now !
A Greatest Hits on its own would be a poor anniversary. But with a tour I wouldn't mind, as long as they have two strong new singles to promote it. A new album and a tour would be the dream option. I don't have that much hopes for a new album at the mo, but who knows, I still think it's a possibility. |

I was quite happy with a GA break and hearing their solo stuff, and had gotten used to the idea that we'd probably never have an album of new material from them. However, I WANT THEM BACK NOW. I'm fickle and as much as I am loving Nicola at the moment, solo GA is nothing compared to their joint stuff.

If they don't tour this year, I will burn my GA collection. MARK MY WORDS. (

Somehow I don't think they'll be on tour in late 2012, but rather announce the reunion and tour in late 2012... and then tour in 2013.
This is what I hope could happen: November/December 2012 - Announce reunion at press conference. - Tour announced, tickets go on sale. - Documentary aired on ITV1. - New single & music video. - Appearance on The X Factor to perform new single. - 'A Night in with Girls Aloud' aired on ITV1. - A new Greatest Hits release. - Performances & interviews on a number of different television programmes. May/June 2013 - Arena tour I say a Greatest Hits above... I'm just not sure whether the public would be immediately responsive to a new studio album from them, four years after the previous one. Perhaps they'd be better off reminding the public of their previous hits. Though there's always the great possibility that that could backfire, given it'd still only have been six years since their previous million selling Greatest Hits. Hmm! |

I expect we'll get a new updated greatest hits cd sometime later this year. I hope we get some new material on it if this is true. I doubt we'll get a brand new album. Can't see them doing another one to be honest as most of the members seem to be busy with their own projects.
