In all fairness, I wouldn't say that coming in the top-20 in the FINAL is a flop.
 You came 20th our of 49 songs after all! So you're in the top half. I think a "flop" in BJSC is DNQ and maybe, _maybe_ bottom five in the final.

Following an extended period of flop entries in BJSC known as the 'Post-Ein Slump' Allecian can confirm that the representative for BJSC XLV will be performing the first ever non-English track to be sent by the country. The singer won Finnish Idol a few weeks ago and will perform her winner's single tonight in Eledan.

Some lovely choices here. I am loving Eyes In The Dark and Waiting For The Feeling in the unapreciated section. They are both AMAZING and should've done better.

Persephonian Trade Embargo Lifted
Following months of hostile relations between the two countries, the Allecci government has lifted the ban on Persephonian imports to the country. This follows the unexpected results of the Allecci BJSC televote where Persephonia were awarded their first ever point from Allecian. It is hoped that these events are to signal a period of Détente in Perso-Allecci relations. Allecci finance minister refused to comment on rumours of Allecian applying for membership of the Jurbirdia Alliance of which several of Allecian's political allies and Persephonia are already a member. Allecian has historically enjoyed a modest economy with stable growth and relatively low unemployment. It is thought that membership of the alliance would give the Allecci economy the opportunity to move into the 'premier league' of the economies of the BuzzJack world. There is however a highly vocal opposition group within the country opposed to Allecci membership of the Alliance. Rumours that the Ashtonese government have been supplying them with funds remain unconfirmed. Perso-Allecci have been weak since Presidant Salim Zosimus came to power some years ago. The Allecci government has historically refused to recognise Zosimus' government as the legitimate government of Persephonia. Allecian goes Foreign for LIII The head of the Allecci BJSC committee confirmed this morning that the entry that has been decided upon will not be performed in English. This is the second time that Alleccian have sent a song in a foreign language sending a song in Finnish, 'Onko Marsissa Lunta', to Eledan in BJSC XLV. |
