So, another month has passed, and already it seems like 2012 will have gone before it has begun. Although that could be partly down to February being an anomaly month.

Anyway - what are your plans for this month? Did anybody get proposed to on the February 29th? Will this month be as dull as the last?

Aw! Congratulations to you/your sibling of choice tongue.gif How do you actually celebrate your birthday in a non-leap year - would it be on the day before or day after? ohmy.gif My friend's sister had her fifth birthday yesterday laugh.gif

My mate from primary school's dad was born on the 29th of Feb, he turned 10 a few weeks before his son turned 11. Very odd.

Anyhow, this month should be a good one. Few casual nights out, no massive backlog of work and doing both a skydive with GeogSoc and the Sheffield Varsity 10k run later in the month. I raised my first £16 for the former today so I may have money issues coming into April...

Thanks! My third nephew, my brother only seems capable of helping to produce boys tongue.gif We're not sure yet but I'm presuming they'll celebrate it on Feb 28th, seeing as it's the same birth month. Celebrating a February birthday in March seems stranger somehow. He's healthy but was born three weeks premature, so strange that he was born yesterday of all days!

Congrats GD! biggrin.gif

March is looking quite hectic in terms of things I have to do - my younger brother and sisters birthday, my mothers birthday AND Mothers day plus continuing uni work drama.gif its getting weirdly close to the end of the first year at Uni as well, we're starting to search for a house now as well! ohmy.gif

oh and the start of Spring of course, which is always wonderful happy.gif

Argh I hate that! They always seem to go so fast though when you're doing them! I always lose complete track of time.

Yeah when I first did it I thought I did it in about 5 minutes but was almost 8, 3 more goes and it's down to just over 6 but getting stuck on what I could cut out or shorten now. It's for a graduate job assessment so I really don't want to risk going over the limit.

Congratulations to you and your family Rich on the latest addition.

March is an expensive month for me, mother's birthday as well as Mother's Day and two cousins have birthdays this month.

One of my cousins should be giving birth to a son sometime this month. Maybe she already did! I shall find out soon enough.

No relatives of mine are celebrating a birthday this month, but my cousin's wife should be giving birth either this month or at the beginning of April, which is exciting! Mother's (and Father's) Day are never days which I look forward to; it always seems a bit pointless, and recently my family has stopped even doing anything for it bar the token present. My mum and two of my sisters all celebrate their birthdays within 6 days of each other at the end of April/early May, which is again always a nuisance to purchase for.

Oh I actually have something to add for once. Yay. One of my best friends should give birth this month. Towards the end I think so it might go into April but hey. Otherwise March seems like it will be pretty unspectacular. It will likely consist of counting down the days to Electra Heart for me.

What's with all the births this month? Did something significant happen around May/June last year that I missed?

Speaking of which I always cringe when I remember that my birthday is almost exactly 9 months after Valentine's day - I suspect people born around the 25th of September feel similarly tongue.gif
