I've finally caught up with and have read everything now!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to these countries and their points for Janine and the Mixtape! Kingdom of Shadow - 7 points (you always give me decent points, which I have never been more happy about ) Tinnmark - 5 points (I don't often get as much points from you as I usually do, so I'm glad to get some from you again! ) Zechonia - 3 points Sandebörg - 2 points (my 80th voter overall! ) Palmyra - 1 point Budtar - 1 point I seriously don't understand how I made it to this final. I got 19 points! 19 points!!! (That number is cruelly haunting me everywhere). I did not expect to be at the bottom with this stunning song; I absolutely don't understand annything Quite gutted about this. Really disappointed to see Greenfroze at the bottom. Bullets has grown on me hugely throughout the contest and deserves much better So.. thank you for saying that! But nontheless, I'm very glad Elëdan won, though! Congratulations on that one! And thank you for hosting, Tom! Great job with it, and I'm going to listen to the radio show as well! Oh and: WOW! Thank you Freeze - 7 points! You're welcome! It is SUCH a FANTASTIC pop song! Oh THANK YOU Freeze *.* Lovely discovery, so thank you to you too! Wow thank you Freeze! I really enjoyed it, so no problem! Thank you Keypopian Republic and Greenfroze!! I considered sending that song last contest and this contest as well, so it was bound to get some from me! Thanks Freeze! Great song, great discovery! You're welcome! Aww, I was hoping Purity Ring would score me my 7th win (or at least get my 5th or 9th place so I can FINALLY have finished every place in the top 10...if anything 7th place for the 7th time lololol), but I'm of course happy with 3rd. Luv yall. I'm also pleasantly surprised at the quality of the top 10

Thank you to Terra Avium for the 12, FYR-Vojvodina-On-The-Wold for the 10, Isconia and Bignia-Zaragovina for the 8 points! As well as the rest of the points fromt he other countries who gave me points. Thank you all!
Have Ojnoj ever even given us points?! 6 times. Although, the last time was 37 I think. I gave 4 points to The Weeknd. Idool 'More To Me' got the most amount from me. (10 points) But only 6 times out of like 34 contests or whatever. 1. Elëdan: Ronya – Hyperventilating 178 Zechonia top 10 Such a beautiful song and a fantastic discovery for me as were the whole of my top 5. Although 'Wrecking Ball' wasn't a discovery as I was tempted to send it to this contest. Do it's nice to see it finished just a couple of places above me and no more 2. Kopečka: Meiko - Leave The Lights On 170 3. Mdiče: Purity Ring – Obedear 156 4. Utopia: Reverend & The Makers - Bassline 139 5. Lake Thermwoods: First Aid Kit – Emmylou 130 (with 18 votes) 6. Daehun: Rebecca Stella - Give Me That O 130 (with 17 votes) 7. Ramrynia: Alex Saidac - Stay In This Moment 124 8. FSR Rontvia: Mr Little Jeans – Runaway 116 9. Espen: Dreamon – Rise 105 10. Zechonia: Mandy Capristo - Hurricane (Acoustic) 99 11. Umiiruka: Aubrey O'Day - Wrecking Ball 94 12. Hendinia: Porcelain Black - Swallow The Bullet 90 13. Ojnoj: Queen Of Hearts – Neon 88 (14 votes) 14. Ingermanlandia - A*M*E - City Lights 88 (13 votes) 15. Kingdom of Shadow: Azealia Banks - Hood Bitch 86 16. Aeroche: Jessie Ware - 110% 83 17. Tinnmark; Lise Karlsnes - Here We Go 82 18. Caerfyrddia: Above & Beyond feat. Zoë Johnston - Love Is Not Enough 81 19. Batidas: Mark Foster; A-Trak; Kimbra – Warrior 80 20. Numayania: Bimbo Boy; Chart Music – Die From A Broken Heart 78 21. #00274E: Matt Corby – Brother 75 22. Persephonia: Karin Park – Restless 71 23. Séyetana: Poppy & The Jezebels - Sign In, Dream On, Drop Out 66 (15 votes) 24. Sandebörg: Ayah Marar - Mind Controller 66 (14 votes) 25. Ashton: Nina Nesbit - Apple Tree 65 26. Keypopian Republic: Paulini – Fireman 63 27. Kluminican Republic: Jinja Safari – Mermaids 59 28. Botanikka: Emma Hewitt - Miss You Paradise 55 29. Farahtyn: Chanée – Fallen 48 30. Greenfroze: Janine and the Mixtape – Bullets 19 Fantastic hosting Tom! |

Disappointed with the result A lot of people who had said they liked it didn't give us any points/gave us small amounts which raised my hopes up. Oh well! Congrats to Pavel! Hyperventilating was my 12 pointer so I'm more than pleased with that. Whereas Kopecka was my least favourite song of the whole final Both versions of it are dull as far as I can see!

Having a proper look at the results now, aww at Bullets finishing last by a mile (it only just missed out on getting points from me - 12th place in my votes - although they'd make no difference anyway), Hurricane making the top 10 means two of my three least favourites are in there and general boo at everyone for Lake Thermwoods finishing top 5 on a technicality by 1 vote. If only I'd voted Daehun On the upside my entire top 3 all finished top 10 so yay for that I suppose.

Wow at some of those results...I actually guessed the top two correctly for once, hurrah! Impressive results for Mdice, Lake Thermwoods, Espen, Hendinia, shockingly bad results for Ingermanlandia, KoS, Caerfyrddia (what happened there? ), Numayania, Ashton and Botanikka (nice song but better than Colours? yeah right...) I think there was a problem with "too poppy" and "too generic" with it, it didn't click with the indie-ish part of contest at all. I personally don't rate 'City Lights' as generic but oh well. Thank you for everyone who voted for City Lights, I'm very satisfied with another top-15, especially given that I was in the bottom five for a huge part of the results. Next time I'll most probably again try something different, I have some songs-contenders but none of them screams "SEND IT!" to me so far. This post has been edited by Arrs: 24th May 2012, 09:03 AM |

Oh congrats Pavel, my 12 pointer won Good to see the rest of my high points fairly high up, especially Emmylou which I expected not to do as well! I'm a bit annoyed as I was going to send it a couple of months ago but went for Anjulie, but at least people got to hear it and it's good for Atonement after a bad start with two DNQs!

Congratulations Pavel, worthy winner IMO! Ronya's song has really grown on me, and I still liked it on first listen.
And to all those who said thanks for the votes, it's no problem, thank you for some great discoveries this contest. |

Congrats Pavel, and thanks for hosting Tom! 18th place. Yeah, a little disappointing, but thanks for the late votes from Espen, Botanikka and Ashton! Poor Ghosty, I really like 'Love Is Not Enough' and as far as dance entries go, yours was sublime. For me these results were...interesting. Some songs did much better than I'd expected - in some cases I was happy about, less so with others. Also slightly gutted for Botanikka as again I liked 'Miss You Paradise' although in this case not quite as much as 'Colours' but I ended up liking the Shogun Remix so pretended that was the version in the final instead. Had a gut feeling 'Warrior' wasn't going to be top 10 or bottom 10 so 18th I'm happy with. On another note, I haven't a clue what I'm going to enter in the next contest. |

Second top 10 in a row. Special thanks to Ojnoj and Farahtyn for the 12s.
Thx for the great hosting to Numayania and grats to Eledan, Kopecka and Mdice. Great result. It doesn't happen often that my 12-pointer wins. Is this the first time that a song has won both BJSC and NSC? |

I haven't been able to finish off the radio show tonight. Now that the results are out there I think I'll take my time if that's OK, but I'm thinking early next week. Meanwhile if anyone would like to hear part one as a taster, click here. |
