Commentary : The Korean number one from Psy becomes my first K-Pop number one and is set to become K-Pop's biggest export with more than 35 million youtube views plus parodies of his dance moves. Psy keep's London's Wiley off the top spot at 2 whilst Nigerian singer D'Prince follows in the footsteps of D'Banj and climbs to 5. Three new entries and the highest at 15 comes from the Bachata pairing of Alex Matos and Andy Andy who hit number one on my chart last year with "Mi Alma Loca". At 18 is Mi Casa's "La Vida"...the song and group may be in Portuguese but the group is South African and the song is more soul jazz than latin. Finally at 19
is a group with a French name but is decidedly English with a 60's sound namely the Noisettes who scored high in my charts in 2009 with "Never Forget you".
