Psy keep's London's Wiley off the top spot at 2 whilst Nigerian singer D'Prince follows in the footsteps of D'Banj and climbs to 5. Three new entries and the highest at 15 comes from the Bachata pairing of Alex Matos and Andy Andy who hit number one on my chart last year with "Mi Alma Loca". At 18 is Mi Casa's "La Vida"...the song and group may be in Portuguese but the group is South African and the song is more soul jazz than latin. Finally at 19 is a group with a French name but is decidedly English with a 60's sound namely the Noisettes who scored high in my charts in 2009 with "Never Forget you". |

Hi
I didn't know Rasmus are still going. anyhow, my picks 07 09 07 04 Settle Down (No Doubt) 16-12-11-9-7 Thanks Mart!n. The group had about 3 years off as they had no recording contract and Lauri Ylonen, the lead singer, pursued a solo career but this year they have a new album on Universal Music. |

09 13 09 03 Wildest Moments (Jessie Ware) 18-13-9 19 --- 19 01 That Girl (Noisettes) 19 That Girl is awesome! .... yes .... it really sounds like an authentic early sixties song. Although it is an original song it sounds familiar ... maybe like the Shirelles Thank you for commenting Abe |
