Posted December 24, 201212 yr The Snowman And The Snowdog "If you don't end up wishing for snow and snivelling that you want your own Snowdog after this, you've got an icicle for a heart. It's a gloriously old-fashioned animation, inspired by The Snowman (the magical winter tale first shown on Channel 4 30 years ago) and made with creator Raymond Briggs' blessing. Again it's a gentle story of friendship and loss. A young boy, who looks remarkably like James in the original, moves into his new home with his mother and, one winter's day, discovers the Snowman's hat and scarf in a box secreted under the floorboards in his bedroom. As the first snowflakes fall, he rushes out into the garden to build the exact same figure, but with a Snowdog at its side. It's heart-meltingly charming, while its hand-crafted style makes a wonderful antidote to the CGI that children accept as the norm these days" From the Radio Times magazine Who's watching this? :D Edited December 24, 201212 yr by ★ G R I E F ★
