QUOTE IT'S BACK TO BASICS WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT ON AN ALL-NEW "GLEE" THURSDAY, APRIL 25 ON FOX Guest Stars Sarah Jessica Parker ("Sex and the City") and NeNe Leakes ("The New Normal") Return When the power goes out at McKinley High, Will and Finn enlist the members of New Directions to "unplug" and perform acoustic numbers. Meanwhile, Isabelle Wright (guest star Parker) asks Kurt to volunteer at the Vogue.com charity event, with Rachel and Santana in tow, in the all-new "Lights Out" episode of GLEE airing Thursday, April 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GLE-420) (TV-14 D, L) Songs: "At The Ballet" from A Chorus Line "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M. "For The Longest Time" by Billy Joel "Little Girls" from Annie "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" by The Righteous Brothers "We Will Rock You" by Queen Not at all excited by the songlist, from the top of my head I know "Everybody Hurts" and "We Will Rock You" and they are both awful. |

Jane Lynch is apparently the one singing "Little Girls". I'm excited to hear it, as she's going to be playing Miss Hannigan in Annie on Broadway soon.

I really liked the episode. Much more understated than Shooting Star; the Ryder and Kitty scenes were really nice. I was thinking at one point that Katie could be Artie, but I doubt that. "Call On Me" was fantastic - they should have recorded their own version of the occasion! *.* The New York scenes were at their best for a while also; "At the Ballet" was really nice.

Wasn't fussed about any of the performances (other than "We Will Rock You" being quite clever), "At The Ballet" especially dragged on imo. Always found Blaine overrated but those workout scenes were amaze. All a bit filler and a step down on the last couple of episodes but I'm really liking Ryder and interested in his story now, can't wait for the finale to find out who the catfish is.
