ICELANDIC for this month to tie in with their impending Eurate win (and because obviously Iceland is the first country you'd think of when you think of August).

What's going on for you all in this eighth month of the year?

AS results incoming for me. I could not be less hyped.

AS results + absence of hype for me too. There's the birthdays of two of my best friends this month though!

Turning 17 on the 4th, my brother turns 16 on the 7th, AS Results, might be meeting an internet friend at last, Uni open days, apart from that I don't really think much else is going on, usually we'd be going on holiday this month as well but that's in October instead for a change. So yay for my birthday, but not-so yay at finding out AS results, about 100 times more nervous than I was for GCSEs but I'm praying to be pleasantly surprised again!

this month's quite eventful for me. Spending a week in Cornwall then going to V Fest on the Sunday afterwards. Followed by GCSE results day and a family reunion weekend

Going to be a REALLY eventful month for me~

A week in the hospital (doing shit all but still a very new experience pour moi as I've never been properly admitted and stayed overnight in the hospital since I was like 3), then two weeks in Moscow for work then big going away partaayy (hopefully~) for my American m8 who has been living and working in Moscow for the past two summers. Graduating next year so won't be coming back anymore sad.gif

Why are you going to the hospital for an entire week? I assume it can't be something too bad as you seem to be anticipating it like it's a holiday or something.

I was sick for like an entire month and they didn't know what was wrong with me, so I kept putting off getting admitted to the hospital. And now that I decided to finally go, all symptoms miraculously disappeared and I feel perfectly fine!

And yes it's going to be pretty much a holiday. No internet, no electronic devices, no nothing. Just f***ing BOOKS. And laying in bed all day every day. I'm gonna die there, aren't I?

AS results and going on holiday to Florida on the same day *_*

Also got myself a week's work experience at Cliveden next week which should be fun/something to do/good for my uni application. And going to see Guardians of the Galaxy in a few hours so August should be fairly good.

WOO ICELANDIC.

August could not have started any better if it tried. Got to fix someone else's f*** up and it gets worse and worse by the minute.

I can just not come. But if you had temperature rise to at least 38C by every evening for like 3 weeks in a row, you'd probably want to check what the hell was that. They took so much of my blood like weeks ago and so few of the results came back so far. WHAT DO THOSE PEOPLE DO

This month will be already be going brilliantly if I make it back to London relatively unscathed on Sunday evening after my 34 hour long flight from WA. See you all on the other side~ (of the world literally)

YES / NO (it's my planned moving date and I'm stressing about finding a place)

After the disaster of AS results last year I'm glad that the pressure is off when it comes to A2 results in a couple of weeks.

Just had my first full time work week in my life. I'm not sure I can do this for the rest of my life when I finish uni! I'm afraid two days off a week ain't enough.

Considering going to the gay pride tomorrow in Amsterdam.... mhmmmmm, it could be fun?! But the weather prediction is not that great..
