What techy shit are you looking at / dreaming of / have you bought recently. etc.

Just purchased a Sony Xperia Z2 on 3. So pretty in white. Super stoked for that to arrive.

Bought a Seagate external 1 TB hard drive a couple of weeks ago. It's so pretty and red. Also got some Sony earphones the other day, also red. Think I'm a red junkie right now, ha.

I got the Sony Xperia Z2 last month on EE. Hands down the best phone I have ever had and I'm speaking from someone who has always been with Sony.

Sony have been making good (but perhaps not *great*) phones for a while now. Every review I read said the Z2 was on a par with the HTC One M8, and I wasn't ever going to consider a Samsung because they look so basic and the modified Android skins are awful. Did you get a case to protect it? I don't want it getting covered in scratches like my Xperia SP did.

Yeah I don't get why people like Samsung as much as they do. The plastic is so tacky :/

Yeah I got a see through hardback Case with rubber sides. Hopefully it won't break when I drop it this time like my last phone did.

My last tech purchase was a 27" iMac in July. It's so pretty. It replaced my truly ancient Windows XP machine but I still managed to keep all my play counts and playlists on iTunes. wub.gif

All my tech is now Apple which means everything integrates perfectly!

Never really understood the attraction of Android as an OS. Though it's not as nasty as that new Windows phone thing is.

Windows OS is horrible. I've been with Android since it started so I don't know the appeal of any if the other OS.

I'm going to purchase a laptop later this month for uni, but I'm quite oblivious when it comes to specs etc.

OS X has something called 'Migration Assistant' that copies across all your files from another Apple machine or from Windows. So I didn't need to re-add any music or anything. I just opened iTunes and there it all was!

Ugh, so that won't work on a windows to windows basis?

Not unless Microsoft has got it's own version. Unlikely given that would be user friendly and that's not what Microsoft is about.
