I went out last night and have had a HORRIFIC pounding hangover all day.

I have drank 2 litres of mango juice and had a KFC and a McDonalds and STILL feel like death.

TIPS people to make me feel human again?

I've had like three hangovers in my life and it only happens if I've been around smokers, strangely enough laugh.gif Definitely have a glass of water before you go to bed, that always works!

Don't even get me started

I hardly ever get headaches, but I can hardly move whenever I had a few too much drinks (which is basicly whenever I drink as this bitch loses all control once it has 2 drinks in its system drama.gif)

I usually just try to sleep them off if I have no plans for the day!
Trying to function is just impossible sad.gif And although junk food always seems like a good idea it always just makes me feel so much worse later haha.

Best tip is to just laze around feeling sorry for yourself 😁

I used to be able to sleep through hangovers, but now that I'm old - that doesn't seem to really work. The beer festival I went to earlier this month left me with probably the worst one I've had to date (this may be due to drinking many, many, different and potentially dangerous homebrews and playing drunk giant jenga) and I was out of it for at least 12 hours the following day. Couldn't even stand up in the shower without wanting to HURL. Bad times. sad.gif

I had a HUGE one yesterday. Wednesday is a odd night out but we teachers were having a last hurrah that night before we go back next week. Well I could do nothing of significance yesterday until 3pm because of my shocking headache.

1.1 glass of water
2. A fried egg on toast
3. A Bloody Mary
4. Another glass of water
5. A multivitamin

COCONUT WATER IF YOU HAVE TO FUNCTION. It's basically LIFE juice!!!

Despite throwing up numerous times and passing out in bars/clubs, I thankfully don't get any sorts of hangover at all. Must thank my mother for blessing me with such gene. wub.gif

I've heard Sprite is the best cure. Haven't tried it myself though because I rarely get hangovers, and when I do, they are very minor.

You are so lucky! I throw up more when I'm hungover than when I do when I'm intoxicated!! laugh.gif

I mainly make myself throw up because I feel so much better after! Sometimes it just doesn't sit well and I literally just puke it all out and I'm ready for another round once again! A lot of people do think it's weird that at 4am in the morning, I'd be crawling along the floor mumbling due to my intoxicated state but still manage to wake up at 8:30am bright and early for my morning lectures. I shan't be complaining though!

I can't make myself throw up. It either happens or it doesn't and when it happens... Lorde

Last time I threw up I couldn't eat and drink for 40 hours straight

Oh that's what they all say though before I learnt the trick to just continuously swirl my finger down the throat so there's nothing other than my body to force itself to throw up. The relief after it is immense!

I've only once had an awful hangover to the point it took a whole day of eating bananas/clearing up my mess from the night before/going for walks to recover (twas the day after my birthday naturally), since then, I haven't had a bad one since although I never really drink in excessive amounts, nothing that a good breakfast/glass of water won't cure.

Red Wine is the only thing that has ever given me a hangover. sad.gif

They say Irn Bru is the ultimate hangover cure. It is the highest selling beverage in a nation of alcoholics....
