I'm going up to my mum's in November, London to Sheffield, 2hrs, 20min then a 30 minute short train journey then a bus ride. Of course there's a short bus ride and a 40 minute tube ride to get to King's Cross first. Dogs travel free but aren't allowed on seats and they reserve the right to throw you off the train if the dog defecates or is a nuisance to other passengers. ohmy.gif So am a bit apprehensive.

Any tips welcome.

Make sure you take the dog for a toilet before you travel = a definite move.

She's 15 months old and fully house-trained so may manage for just over 4 hours from home to my mum's. as she can hold it 6-7 hours in the daytime and all night. Won't give her much to drink and not feeding her. We went in the car at Christmas and she was sick several times going and coming back.
