Has it happened to you that there's stuff in these holy forums that you will never ever get?

Here are some of the things that always boggle my mind:

1. The Azaelia Banks loonage as if she was some sort of new Madonna

She released a great single in the form of '212' which wasn't even huge and that was it. She then disappeared into twitter bitchiness obscurity to never ever come back with proper valuable music. Nevertheless, people in here act like she's some sort of legend and piss their pants with every 2 second-clip she's arsed to release every now and then.

2. BJBB SKFNSLDFNONFOPSN BLAH SONG CONTEST

It might be a case of me living inside a flask, though. But I seriously tried to keep up with that and I don't understand what the f**k goes on with that stuff. From the fantasy territories to some of the acts that are presented there. Then again, it must be me.

That's exactly my point too... does that ever exist outside the internet? I've never come across such thing in "real" life.

Are The Saturdays even known where you live though? tongue.gif

A couple of things:

1. The fixation with THIS: What is it meant to be? It looks like a block of cheese being melted in the sun.

2. Why Michael has not yet been banished from the forum. What purpose does hanging on to him and letting him pollute the forum serve?

The use of 'slaying' and 'your faves' and 'wig/weaves snatching' - I fail to see how anyone can use these completely non-ironically at all in regards to music, I have never seen these referenced at all outside of music forums.

Although I've never used that I actually love it!
I take it as meaning I AM NOT WORTHY etc. A perfect example would be..

NEW KENDRICK LAMAR SINGLE

Oh but what's it meant to be? Yeah..no idea.

The thing I don't get the most about Buzzjack is probably the personal chart forum. I used to make a sort of chart although always forgot about it and realised there just wasn't really any point in making one? Especially when people add 'sales' into them..surely just number plucked out of thin air? Plus the comments that just post the songs from the chart they like..is that really adding anything of value?

Well, does come from ATRL so that's probably why it doesn't make any sense? None of their emoticons really do.

I love the personal charts comments, I like interacting with others and seeing what they like/dislike that I like/dislike, kt's interesting to see others' views and get to know them better.

Isn't that thing a character in the game Earthbound? Sort of looks like a Mario Thwomp if it was grey too!

I think that block of cheese thing is also used in the context of fans being (continually) disappointed by their faves' career decisions. Like, I'd imagine there were crouching cheese men aplenty after the announcement of 'Cheek To Cheek'!

Also, completely agreed on personal charts. I've never quite understood the appeal, other than it being semi-interesting to see what people are listening to at a given time (even though there are references to this all over the site).

Nobody knows them where I live laugh.gif but I meant the "loonage" in general.

I named Azaelia Banks but she's only a sole example of a variety of other acts that are worshipped in here.

About the cheese thing, I guess it represents a good feeling towards a certain event, eg:

"Just watched Britney's new video Work, Bitch for the first time Godney is so back" (positive)

Azelea Banks loonage is easily understood. I understand someone getting intoxicated by the potential of an artist who releases one great single.

I mean, in some circles Ainslie Henderson prompted rapturous comment for three years based on Keep Me A Secret.

I believe signifies 'I'm slain' (like most ATRL emoticons I'm guessing). It's quite funny when used ironically, been a little bit overused now though.
