^ the #1.

Established artists that found a decline in their popularity upon releasing what you think is their BEST material.

Any others? ohmy.gif

KT Tunstall-Tiger Suit.
Every Matt Cardle album has gotten better yet sold less than the previous one.
Literally any Hanson album that wasn't their debut (even though that's still amazing)

Rachel Stevens and Holly Valance's second albums, such a shame they weren't given to someone who could have made it successful. sad.gif

The Saturdays - On Your Radar
Leona Lewis - Glassheart

Two albums which deserved to be massive, and easily their most solid albums by each artist!

Alanis Morissette - Every post JLP album.

She gets better with each album but les successful. Jagged Little Pill is probably only 5th in terms of her albums for me.

How do you mean? You mean Rachel and Holly couldn't carry off the material or the record company messed up?

Xtina's Bionic. Wholly underrated, plus "Not Myself Tonight" was a bop for what it was worth.

YES @ the Glassheart shoutout.

To be honest I think that album gets a lot of unfair stick. I think it's a solid enough album with good songs, just not one big killer song that could be a hit.

'Elastic Love' is worth its weight in gold alone. wub.gif

On Your Radar is a HUGE one for me - #23 for one of my favourite girl group albums (second only to Tangled Up) when all of their other albums went top 10 sad.gif

Not a "flop" as such but Cheryl's best album out of her three to date, A Million Lights, is the only one that hasn't made it to #1 and is her lowest seller by quite some way. Boo.

Kesha is a good one BUT I think that ole era was hampered by other events iirc? I'm sure radio/TV pulled Die Young when it was just starting to take off, because of the school shooting incidents, don't think that helped one bit.
