I tend to put mine up sometime in the second week of December. I can't really be bothered to do so any earlier! Certainly never in November, that seems too soon to me, but I do know a few people who put them up that soon. Someone near to where I live puts out all of their "outside of the house" decorations in October! laugh.gif

The important question is how long do you keep them up for? A few years back we kept our decorations and tree up until July and only took them down because people were coming over and we didn't want them to judge us laugh.gif

To answer the question in this thread, usually the first day of December cheer.gif

Somewhere between December 20 and 24.
Last day of Christmas tree and decorations in my room is between January 15 and January 31.

It's usually been the final weekend in November for us (kink.gif), but was only a week or two before Christmas last year as I was at University and will probably be the case again this year.

Usually the tree is up and decorated early December, but each year we tend to take longer and longer to get the rest of the decorations out. There has been a couple of years where I've put the last decorations up on the 25th kink.gif

We're much more prompt in taking everything down, save for one room that was still fully decorated in mid-March a few years ago!

01/12 EVERY YEAR. There's simply no other date that seems right. My parents used to do it in the first or second week of December and I practically lived in the hope that they'd be up by my Birthday each year (10th).

I always go for the last Saturday in November, which is the 29th this year I think.

Damn my mum always puts them up late, like a week before xmas ohmy.gif

Wouldn't it be better to make the work of putting them up more worth while by putting them up earlier and taking them down later?
