In the run up to Christmas especially, how do you prefer to do your shopping?

I tend to buy things throughout the year online, but there is something v magical about venturing into the city centre when it's at its most busy to do my actual Christmas shopping. Call me crazy.

I have also never brought a single piece of clothing online because i like to spend hours trying them on first Lol and can't deal with the hassle of returning things through post.

How are you doing your Christmas shopping this year? ohmy.gif

I hate buying things online just cause I love to go out and buy things myself. If I buy online I'm attached to my post box until it arrives which my parents find annoying laugh.gif

Christmas is definitely the time when I think to myself 'Are you crazy' if I decide to go into town and buy things for my friends. Way too busy and I don't have the patience tongue.gif I buy on amazon quite a bit in advance so that they come on time

Generally I like to go out and buy things. But Christmas is a deffo online moment. Cannot bear the crowds at this time of year and it turns people into absolute morons.

In store obv, but recently I've been using eBay gift cards to buy online things. This really helps when there's more stuff online and you want to have a temporary card! And for some things you can pick up at Argos! ohmy.gif laugh.gif biggrin.gif

It depends
I actually enjoy shopping most of the time, so I'll usually just head to town.
Especially wit clothing. I'll only purchase online if I can't find it in their stores or if it's online only or something

Online, always online! People drive me insane can't be doing with crowds, I love the Trafford Centre but if I go it has to be midweek early afternoon when it's nice and quiet. Prefer to shop on my own too, nothing worse than clothes shopping with someone who doesn't know what they want mad.gif

Hate hate HATE Christmas shopping in the stores, I did all mine in one go last Friday online. I only need to get a couple of bottles of booze from where I work (which I'll get next weekend with double discount)

Same! Can't stand going in Christmas but it's just so wonderful when it's quiet, I love the atmosphere and the different themes in different areas of the mall wub.gif But no, definitely not in Christmas

Mostly online throughout the year, and I took advantage of Amazon Black Friday to get some Christmas gifts, but I will be venturing out sometime next week for a spot of Christmas shopping in town!

I don't mind going into town and doing my shopping. I just go in the morning right when they open. I am normally done by half 10 when the shops get busy.
Online is easy though and often cheaper, so I mix and match.

I've generally grown tired of clothes and shoe shopping, principally because it's really difficult to find my size (I currently take XXL sized shirts and a size 12 shoe) but I've not yet dipped my toes properly in the online shopping pool. So basically, neither!

In store and in store 100% billion million percent. The only thing I ever buy online is songs from iTunes (I always get physical albums usually from sainsburys). I just love physically looking around stores and seeing what to buy. I did my Chirstmas shopping in Milton Keynes this year and I bought all my presents in the shopping centre (though I really need to stop spending £150-£200 whenever I go Christmas shopping, I am terrible at controlling my spending kink.gif kink.gif)
