I was gonna SLAY
but then I looked at my chart position
Knew the floppiness would come to prevent the sun from shining
I was gonna slay, then took a sec to realize
All the disappointment that would trail behind that video

It's been enough time, I will begin this tomorrow when I return from College.

That screengrab is everything.

I think 'Into The Blue' will be the runaway winner (deservedly), but I'm hoping 'Glow' from the Garibay selection can not finish too low. It's so incredible.

"I just want you to know, that after all this time, you're still the one,"

23 | 5.4 | Beautiful (feat. Enrique Iglesias) - Highest Scores: 9.5 (JohnKm) 8 (Liam, liamk97) Lowest Scores: -1 (Red Blooded Man, Hezzus Froot) 2 (Mr Aly)
23 | 5.4 | Crave You (Reprise) (With Flight Facilities) - Highest Scores: 8.5 (JohnKm) 7.5 (Calum Hood) Lowest Scores - 0 (Liamk97) 1 (HeeusFroot)
24 | 4.9 | I Was Gonna Cancel - Highest Scores: 9 (Acidburn, aeroco) 8 (Mr Aly, Red Blooded Man) Lowest Scores: -1 (JohnKm, Liam) 0 (Calum Hood)

At the bottom of the pile is second KMO single, I Was Gonna Cancel. I don't think anyone thought this would do well. A poor attempt at hopping on the Pharrell bandwagon, the song
is just too "average album track" to make it as a single. It bombed, no wonder. The video though, is so godawfully BAD that it is ICONIC.
The reprise of Crave You is next, not really a full song, but nice enough. Whether a full version exists or not, I dunno, hope so. Not much else to say here. It's rightfully near the bottom.
Beautiful, the would-be single from KMO is also down near the bottom. A collab with Enrique Iglesias, it's actually a gorgeous song, but the overuse of Auto Tone in some parts must
ruin it for some people. Thankfully, Kylie has been performing a stripped back solo verison on tour which brings the song up to KylieBallad standards. You can download the iTunes Festival version on itunes magic.gif

No huge losses. I don't think 'I Was Gonna Cancel' is THAT bad but it definitely should've stayed as an album track.

Even a half "song" beats 'I Was Gonna Cancel'! tongue.gif I agree that it's not that bad and, as said before, it was one of my initial favourites on the album before slipping down.

It's a real shame that 'Beautiful' is so autotuned. I've been managing to overlook (or overhear should I say) it but it's still pretty bad. An 8 from me was quite generous considering that.

Didn't think of replacing Beautiful with the iTunes Festival version! Great idea.

Ahhhhh, I Was Gonna Cancel is ace. Though I understand the indifference towards it. I know I am in an even bigger minority when I say I really enjoy the abstractaliscious video.

Actually like I Was Gonna Cancel, and still think if it had a banging music video and more support, it could have smashed

"Feels like I'm going crazy, 'cause I'm always craving your touch,"

19 | 6.5 | Million Miles - HS: 9 (Red Blooded Man) 8 (aeroco) LS: 1 (Heezus Froot) 6 (JohnKm, Simon)
20 | 6.0 | Chasing Ghosts - HS: 8 (Aeroco) 7.5 (JohnKm) LS: 4 (Heezus Froot) 5 (Red Blooded Man, Liam, Regina)
21 | 5.7 | Should I Stay Or Should I Go? (With Jools Holland) - HS: 8 (Calum Sande) 7 (Mr Aly, Red Blooded Man, aeroco) LS: 4 (Simon, Liam) 4.5 (Regina)

First things first, go see Rachel Getting Married, it's incredible.
SISOSIG? is a version of the song that was done with Jools Holland for his new album and frankly is nothing on the version that she previously did on Intimate & Live. Her vocals for the most part are just too whispery and girly and ew. Give it a miss and listen to the I&L one.
Chasing Ghosts is the first of the tracks from the Kylie + Garibay EP to fall out. Easy to see why, it's ann odd one. A bit middle eastern and not enough Kylie in it. Still, nice enough I guess.
Million Miles defines "Album track filler" really. It's a typical Kylie song that is just safe and....nice. There is nothing more to really add to this, it's a nice song but nothing we haven't heard a million times before from Kylie.

'Million Miles' is very much filler, with a strong chorus maybe it would have been worth the tracklisting space on that album.

'Chasing Ghosts' is definitely by far and away the worst of those Garibay tracks, the other three are incredible.

"Let me see you sexercize, come on, baby (bounce, bounce)"

17 | 6.63 | Sexercise - HS: 10 (Regina) 9 (Liam, Calum Hood) LS: 1 (Heezus Froot) 2 (JohnKm)
17 | 6.63 | Fine - HS: 9 (Calum Hood) 8.5 (Regina) LS: 1 (Heezus Froot) 6 (Johnkm, Mr Aly, Red Blooded Man)
18 | 6.60 | Sparks - HS: 8 (Mr Aly, Red Blooded Man) 7 (JohnKm, Liam, Calum Hood) LS: 5 (Acid Burn) 6 (Simon, liak97, aeroco, Heezus Froot)

3 more KMO tracks fall out. Bonus track and Into The Blue b-side Sparks is first. A very tropical sounding track, it really sticks out from all the other tracks on the album, it is easy to see why it is only a b-side, it's not good enough to make the main album IMO.
Fine is a bit lower than I thought it'd be. A really good track that closes off the standard album really well I think. Maybe a bit safe, but the whole album is like that, at least Fine has
a bit more to it.
Sexercise way too low. Should be top 3. The most marmite track on the album I think. Dubsteplie was not for everyone and some of the more prudish old farts among us think Kylie is too old to be making songs like this. Bullshit. She still got dat thaaannnng. Maybe people cannot handle that much sexy.
A great, sexy track that needs to be longer. Even the gayest of the gays had a moment of bonerificness when they saw Kylie lezzing off in her heels in the gym for the promo video.

The quality of the songs so far is directly proportional to that of their accompanying pics, in other words shite.

I'm engrosed in The Great Muppets Caper, so taking a brief interlude from this. Until I resume, I present a MAJOR query.

CATS

or

DOGS

You decide.
