then on boxing day seeing the new Hobbit film cheer.gif my brother's already seen it and apparently it's very good so I'm excited for that

I am driving up to York to spend Christmas with my brother. happy.gif

He can't get the time off work so my parents, the dog and I are having a little road trip up to see him instead.

Christmas Day with the parents and siblings, same old, same old. Boxing Day similar. I'm more excited for New Years Eve in all honesty.

Spending both Christmas Day and Boxing Day at home, with my dad's side coming over on the 25th and my mum's side over on the 26th (we alternate the days each year, so last year was my mum's side on the 25th etc).

Already off from work (perks of teaching) and am currently chilling to get over last term. On Wednesday morning I am taking my mother to get the turkey and vegetables whilst my dad picks my sister up from the station. Then I pack for an indefinite period of staying at my parents for the big day. Don't know how long I will stay there since I have to share my older brothers room which did used to also be mine and I will have to hear him moan about how my presence is an added strain on him going to work (because he's literally the only person who's ever had a job ever). My flat is only 10 minutes away so I'll have a safe haven should I need one. On Boxing Day we're dining out with the grandparents because it's less stress on my mother than having them round.

I'm going to enjoy the next two weeks to the fullest hopefully. Enjoy my two weeks off before it all starts again.

My sister's family are coming over on Christmas Day (the family which features an 11 month old baby - she is under strict instruction never to be left unsupervised!) and Boxing Day idk, the 26th has never really been a 'go and see people' day in my family for some reason.

NYE my Brother's girlfriend (and hopefully future sister-in-law) is coming down. Basically, chez lexc is where everyone wants to be this festive season!

Just a usual Christmas this year. Go to midnight mass on Christmas Eve (at 7pm in the evening. Well, it's midnight somewhere). All my brothers come back for Christmas Day for unwrapping presents and Christmas dinner, probably watch lots of festive TV, etc.

Going to be fairly quiet, spending it at home with the family and my auntie. Presumably a lot of family will be dropping in over Christmas too so it's going to be fairly uneventful! Roll on New Years cool.gif

i'm no screwge, but it sure sucks when you're on your own with no good prospects for the holidays

Working, and I am f***ing glad for it. I have never liked Christmas day recently, I have nothing in common with my family whatsoever and I just find myself bored with forced convo anyway. I think I work better on a one to one basis with my family, my sisters and mum and dad together are way too overly opinionated about everything and it just gets annoying. Lol life story.

Slaying, as usual

On a more serious note, my small family is coming to my house on the 25th and I'll just spend it with my mum, dad and brothers on the 26th.
Possibly with a bit of revision in between as well if I can be arsed
