One of the best songs of the year. Classy, very well rendered stylistically.

All of these are very serious crimes against music, and if it was punishable these artists would get multiple life sentences for each of these.

Although, I now kind of view the Nicole one in a humourous way.

I think I preferred Ben Haenow singing the song, woops drama.gif

EDIT: ^ It's My Birthday = SUCH a travesty.

Beyoncé - 7/11
Chris Brown - Loyal
The Chainsmokers - #Selfie
Iggy Azalea - Black Widow
Gareth Malone's All Star Choir - Wake Me Up
Jason Derulo - Wiggle
Katy Perry - Dark Horse / This Is How We Do
Pixie Lott - Nasty
Enrique Iglesias - I'm a Freak
Demi Lovato - Let It Go

that 7/11 thing really has no redeeming features at all manson.gif Loyal and Wake Me Up would probably be the runners-up, and "joke" song or not '#Selfie' can get a spot on here due to how intolerable it was for a brief while~

@ SevenSleighz You just reminded me of the sexy but shit at singing Katy Perry. Let me amend my list.

As cliché and already covered as they are (plus the whole being technically from 2013 thing) the various abominations off 'Frozen' are definitely up there with the worst, 'For The First Time In Forever' is the worst offender but 'Let It Go' is of course also horrific. I also had the MISFORTUNE of hearing 'Love Is An Open Door' for the first time the other day. On the other hand I actually really like 'Do You Want To Build A Snowman?' so it's not all bad. Looking forward to Frozen 2!!1! (manson.gif)

'Everything Is AWESOME!!!' is just as bad while still on the 'film songs' front (I know people say it sounds good in the context of the film or w/e but I struggle to see how that is possible) and predictably Maroon 5's comeback produced some of the most painful tracks of the year. Aside from that I have to nominate Charli XCX's 'Break The Rules' (my funeral this weekend after mr_aly sees this), she really knows how to make a song irritating. EDIT: Oh Jade is going down with me biggrin.gif

There have been a few objectively awful hip hop songs this year which are at least enjoyable with a bit of irony but Rae Sremmurd's 'No Flex Zone' is just not defensible in any way. (If you haven't heard it, don't)

Reading some of these lists and agreeing so much! laugh.gif

Ed Sheeran - Sing has just come to mind as has The Saturdays - What Are You Waiting For, Little Mix - Word Up and One Direction - Steal My Girl.

EDIT: Calvin Harris - Summer, MAGIC - Rude and Sigma - Nobody To Love.

I kinda heard that earlier this month from A Dose Of Buckley's Worst Songs of 2014 and I'd have to agree. Seriously awful.
