If I didn't drink water before I went to bed I'd have to get up because I dehydrate stupidly quickly, so yes!

Yeah I do. I'll take a glass of water as I often wake up in the night thirsty, so it saves getting out of bed and going down stairs to get one.

I keep a bottle of water next to my bed while I sleep, I don't always need to drink from it but it's good to have it for when I do. If I know it's empty then I feel thirsty so I keep it topped up laugh.gif

I always have a glass of water (or a bottle) on my bedside table at night, and I have a drink of water directly before trying to go to sleep. I seem to get dehydrated so easily, and I tend to wake up feeling thirsty[/Mariah] so it's essential for me.

Yeah, I usually have a bottle of water there just in case. I too get dehydrated very quickly so I always make sure to have a drink with me at all times.

Whatever's in usually, although last night left a glass of amaretto & coke next to my bedside due to pre-drinking, woke up and that wasn't what I wanted to taste after a night drinking.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that does this. I always have a glass of water before I go to bed, I feel completely dehydrated otherwise. Particularly when I've been drinking as it clears my head and doesn't leave me really thirsty in the morning.

Only in the past year have I started to keep a water bottle by my bed. I wake up dying of thirst in the middle of the night, and I find it strange that it happens to me so often now when it never did before! Especially since I've always been good at drinking water through the day.

I ALWAYS take a drink to bed with me, normally water. If I wake up, I tend to need a drink and if there's nothing there I'm too lazy to get out of bed and go to the iamspamspamamito top up. 😬

i find it interesting that so many people have a drink with them by their bed.

i used to do that myself but it always went over (hahaha!), so i sort of stopped it

and now i just drink J2O before bed. also because i'm such a light sleeper, i can get up if i'm thirsty and drink a cup of juice

I try not to be hydrated enough so that I don't have to drink after 7pm. I just don't like the idea of getting up in the night to go to the toilet, I'd rather just sleep right through. I also massively struggle to get back to sleep once awake so that'd be a problem, if I need the toilet at 5am, I'd probably end up just not going back to sleep no matter how much I tried which would be incredibly frustrating.

tl;dr no
