We're into double digits in the number of days we are into 2015. Time to do a little progress check on New Year's resolutions!

I had two resolutions this year, one was to clean up my desk at some point and the other was to get out of bed a bit earlier in the mornings. Very mixed success with those so far. My desk is as messy as ever (I threw out some muffins that were sitting there for some reason but that was only because they were beginning to go mouldy kink.gif), but I've been pretty successful so far with the getting up earlier - on school days that is. Still stayed in way way too late yesterday. But it doesn't matter as much on weekends anyway so I'm still claiming that as a success.

Are you keeping to your resolutions so far, or if not, how long did it take you to spectacularly fail? magic.gif

Mine's still going good actually! Not buying anything I don't need to buy. To be fair, I've not bought much this year anyway, but I so could've easily spent some money on something in Tesco yesterday but decided not to because I want to save it for a bit.

My new year's resolution has been to get up at sunrise (until such a point where that becomes stupid) and so far it's going very very bad as uni has yet to start for me. I've done it once though magic.gif Once it does start and I get into a rhythm hopefully I'll have more success.

I had two. The first, like many others I presume, was to start leading a healthier lifestyle and lose some weight finally! I got a t-shirt for Christmas off one of my friends and even though it was an XL it barely fit me. Eeek! Started yesterday once the last lot of Christmas goodies were gone so I'm still in the early days of the YASSS LET'S DO IT mindset. But I've set up a meal plan for the week and I'm only drinking water for a couple of weeks too. If I can get to the end of the week without having to resort to buying chocolate or other crap I really feel I can do it this time!

My other resolution (which I haven't started yet) was to get back into learning Swedish. I was doing really well before December after it got added to duolingo (*.*) but it's just taken a back seat but I'm hopeful to get going again soon!

Well my resolution to less of a basic bitch IRL and here on BuzzJack is going pretty amazingly, I think I've only had 1 outburst so far in '15- I haven't even had to resort to overly psychotic niceness like Jake in order to hide it! biggrin.gif

Oops.

My aim to save cash by bringing lunch to work with me has a 5/5 smash rate so far.

The aim to get fitter is somewhat stalled as I can't actually do any cardio yet which is what burns the calories. Going to give the pool a go at some point this week as that's usually where people start injury rehab and because it's by far the best form of exercise for you. We shall see! Wasn't expecting to start this until around Feb so I've got between now and then to start to eat better and develop some good habits.

My resolutions is to maybe cut down on food a bit, and get up earlier. The food resolution is going down not too badly. Getting up earlier is easier said than done, but I'm not giving up yet.

My aim is to do about three hours of revision everyday for my GCSEs. It's going well so far but everything feels so/too real. I have a lot riding on this (if I get my predicted grades, I get a free place in my Sixth Form which will really help my parents out). My school are also expecting grades that I'm afraid I won't live up to. I know I'm going to dread the run up to the results day this year laugh.gif

Music ranking is held off but almost finished adding songs to 2014 and 2015 very short so will be able to compile 2010-2012 soon.

I calculated my BMI but while wearing pyjamas which weigh nearly 1kg. Also used simple ruler to inaccurately measure height. With these inaccuracies I calculate about 2/3 to 3/4 in the Normal range towards overweight, but I calculate if I use accurate measures I could turn out to be 1/4-1/3 if weigh while nude and use accurate height measure. So not really a resolution to work on I suppose mellow.gif

So far so good for me.

i want to get more organised this year, so I've sold a few things on eBay, I even rearranged my DVD shelf without getting distracted by other things and procrastinating laugh.gif I've also (so far) stuck to eating good in the week and having one treat per weekend, although my treat was a big fat greasy take away which made me cry after I ate it! Exercise isn't going well as I haven't done anything yet, just can't get motivated at home, and i feel like i do a lot of exercise at work. I'm also trying to save money but that's not going well either as I've recently spent over £200 on a book! Oops heehee.gif
