After committing a crime against humanity by purchasing Cadbury, Kraft was seemingly not content and has since gone on to plunge to new depths of pure unadulterated capitalist american evil. They've ruined the seminal classic the Creme Egg by replacing Dairy Milk in the shell with shit Chocolate instead and to cap it all, it's now a 5 pack.

Pure evil. On hold with The Hague about a prosecution.

Anyone had the displeasure of tasting one of the new, ruined, Creme Eggs?

The chocolate part isn't the part I care about to be honest. I didn't even know Creme Eggs were made of Dairy Milk!

That said, down with this sort of thing.

Never been a huge fan of Creme Eggs, so it's no big loss for me. Did they used to be sold individually?

They still are!

I LOVE a Creme Egg (or any of the variants like a caramel egg), almost picked some up earlier. Will go in search of some tomorrow to try the new ones myself and see if they're really too bad.

Is it REALLY shit, Tesco value-like chocolate they're replacing this with? The Cadbury distinct taste merged so well with the creme in the past, not liking the sound of this sad.gif

haven't tasted the new creme egg but I'm glad there's a backlash if only because reducing a 6-pack to a 5-pack yet not lowering the price enough/at all is just an awful move manson.gif

Regular second grade Cadbury's chocolate is so disappointing. I'm sure most people would pay a little extra for a 6-pack with Dairy Milk than a 5-pack of crap.

It seems some people didn't know that Creme Eggs had a diary milk shell, but I've always been aware of that! Curious to try one and see if I notice much difference. Reducing the 6 pack to 5 is a bit much though, and they've discontinued the 3 pack as well.
