Inspired by the Radio 4 Show (ik, I is dead classy me) of the same name, what popular/common things have you never done? For instance, what films have you never seen? what books have you never read? what activites have you never done?

Myself, the fact that I have never ridden a bicycle is one but my biggest case of this is generally in Movies. Looking at the imdb top films as inspiration I have never seen any of the following (get ready to weep Bal!)

Star Wars (All of them)
Lord of The Rings (All of them)
The Godfather (Both of them)
Forrest Gump
The Matrix
Back To The Future
Up

(nowhere near an exhaustive list)

Thems be mine, whats be yours?

You've not lived if you've never seen the original Star Wars trilogy. That's a fact. You've been robbed of your childhood.

For me the big film I've never seen is Pulp Fiction.
Not seen any of the Godfather films either, but I don't think they're quite in that upper tier bracket.

The Radio 4 show is well worth listening to. Coronation Street started when I was a few months old but I have never seen a whole episode.

In terms of what? unsure.gif They're pretty much as UPPER TIER as you can get in every way of looking at cinema.

OH MY GOD, what did you watch in your childhood if not Lion King/Toy Story?! sad.gif

I've not seen The Godfather/Fight Club amongst others so I'm not guilty either in terms of cinema. I've also never watched an episode of Breaking Bad, probably something I should likely remedy soon.

Truth. that and the prequels as well but that's not a popular opinion. And Back To The Future. Seriously, that's an essential for anyone. I would also go on about Lord Of The Rings (blasphemy!) but I'm aware that fantasy is not to everyone's taste as much as I wish it would be.

I can't think of any obvious cases in movies right now, I'm sure something will come to me (aside from Pulp Fiction out of what's been mentioned so far).

From things other than movies.... I have never entered a football stadium (of a team in an official league). I think that should count but I always think it's weird how it's so popular and yet I've never been to one and watched a game while actually being there - not counting TV for obvious reasons. Not even once.

Indeed sports stadiums as a whole, the only exception I can think of right now is going to horse racing at one point.

I've never seen Titanic or Avatar. tongue.gif

Pulp Fiction is an absolute MUST though for those who have not seen that, and I couldn't have imagined my childhood without Lion King. It's just such an integral piece of it, I mean at that age who didn't cry when Mustafa dies (and who still doesn't)?

I presume you mean "Wall-E"? If so, I'm offended you use it as your username! cry.gif omg. WATCH IT. NOW. wub.gif

I've not seen any of the 'Godfather' films either (or 'Scarface'/'Taxi Driver' etc...). I haven't seen any of the 'Star Wars' films all the way through either. I've seen the odd bit or two as they've been on round my grandparents house and things like that, but I've never actively sat down and become engrossed in any of them. This is being rectified though, in time for the new one later this year.

I've never seen 'Castaway' or 'Forrest Gump' either. These seem to be pretty big ones to people who I speak to. I always get a shocked reaction whenever I say this. laugh.gif

Most of the ''big' films I haven't seen are ones I have chosen not to watch for various reasons, there's not that many I've just not got round to.

The Godfather II
The Shawshank Redemption (I've seen half, and well it didn't make me want to continue)
Any of the war classics
Any of the classic westerns
