I am hoping that I can scrape enough cash together to go to Spa-Francorchamps in August for the Grand Prix. Would love to drive down, via the Chunnel, and camp out at the circuit.

Been trying to get to the Belgian Grand Prix and to MF for the past couple of years. I'm determined to do at least one.

I'd love to try and hit up a European city i've never been to either at some point. Thinking maybe Roma or head to Köln/Bonn/Dusseldorf and drink all the wine in the Rhine Valley.

I have a standing invitation to stay with my cousin in Paris so if all else fails I can hop an easyjet flight to CDG for next to nothing.

Where in Slovenia are you heading Jake?

It's a really beautiful country. So small as well which makes it so easy to get about and see loads! If you have a chance to slip across the border and visit Zagreb I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Berlin is wonderful! I can't wait to go back. We stayed just into the easy of the city on a U-Bahn line which made travelling around so simple.

i'm not fully certain yet, the actual plan is to interrail from london to istanbul, quite why i only mentioned slovenia i am not sure, probably as it is the place i most want to visit. i may do a european festival in there as well if my funds permit. i will probably stop off in paris to hang with our very own 152christoph etc and then on through europe.

have you been to ljubljana? i hear it is amazingg

Sounds amazing! Have you got any where else on the must visit list?

Regrettably I have not had the pleasure of visiting Ljubljana. I have heard the same and I would love to go back one day to check it out. We drove past it on the way to Čatež ob Savi. I went on a training camp to a place called Terme Čatež right by the Croatian border a number of years ago and we flew into Trieste so had to drive across the whole of Slovenia. It's a gorgeous country.

not especially, i'm a very easy going traveller, spur of the moment. i'll probably end up in some ropey gay bar where i can't speak the language!

i like to go to places not so covered in the media etc so i'd really like to see montenegro and serbia. especially buildings from the period of ottoman rule

Ha! Sounds like a good time to me! I wish I had the cash to be a spur of the moment traveller, and the personality for it. Half the enjoyment for me is in the planning and researching. Although if I won the Euromillions I'd take off for a few months. Just fly to Norway, buy a Volvo 4x4 and drive home trying to see as much of Europe as I physically can taking the longest possible route to the Chunnel.

Then I would recommend you get off the train, even for an afternoon, in Zagreb. It's cheap, has amazing Fanta flavours (including an Elderflower one that is to die for) and is full of stunning architecture.

Planning my third trip to North Dakota, but my first warm-weather visit, last year I was there in May and it snowed! I would hope to see Canada again while I'm there. Also the usual family vacation which never changes but is always the highlight of summer.I'm really wanting to go somewhere new but will have that to look forward to later in the year!

Also I got a new bike for Christmas and have ambitions of using it every weekend in the summer.

Get to Zion if you're doing National Parks. Vegas is a must if you're planning on being in Arizona too.

Is there any real point in going to Vegas though if you're not old enough to drink or gamble? Seems like the only reason to go. laugh.gif

Well I wouldn't go there for a holiday if you weren't 21, but if you're in area, it's such a cool city. It's mad, and you can still go inside the casinos to see how huge they are even if you can't gamble.
