I'm sure with the majority of us being rebellious youths there are plenty of bad experiences we all have to share, but where is the worst place you have ever slept?

My answer is a park bench. Surprisingly it was more comfortable than you would think.

Definitely not rebellious/messy but I did fall asleep on a sidewalk during Relay For Life (24-hour fundraiser walk for American Cancer Society). My group had a tent on site, and my truck was in the parking lot, but nope I decided the sidewalk was the best place to lie down and sleep!

If camping in a tent that was more mud than tent in Bestival 2008 doesn't count, then I slept out on a park bench in Tongue (NW Highlands) once. Stunningly beautiful place, not a particularly nice bench though. Breakfast was non-existent and shower facilities also. 5/10

I spent three months sleeping on an uncomfortable air bed in a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment shared with 13+ other people while in America a few summers ago. Considering I had to get up for work at 7 am and there were always at least some people partying every night, it was not always fun.

Also, I slept in a ditch outside a Portuguese club one time and then woke up in the corridor of a hospital 25 miles away with no money or phone. :/

Travelodge.

I find them to be pretty great usually!

Ibis Budget however. That shit is nasty. In the Pixie lot sense of the word.

In a tent at the Isle of Wight festival while fellow campers/workers shouted and sang Save Tonight by Eagle Eye Cherry at the top of their voices. With a 6am start everyday and no food/limited washing facilities, it wasn't a whole lot of fun (if it weren't for the money/the fact I got to enter the festival for free, I would never go back).

I slept in an Kuala Lumpur airport during my flight stopover, was actually quite nice! (though the prospect is a bit scary)

After just staying in one, I can almost agree with that. Thankfully I've upgraded to a Holiday Inn now that I've moved to a different city.

But seriously, worst sleep was whilst camping at Glasgowbury in Draperstown in 2013. Only got an hour of sleep and someone fell onto the tent during the night.

I quite like the Ibis but the Ibis Budget is truly vile. It's a thin skanky bit of foam on top of a plank of wood. I'd be more comfortable laying my back seats down and sleeping in the boot of my car.

I sleep on in the cinema more often than I'd like tbh. I've woken up on Felixstowe beach before, that's not something I'm in a hurry to recreate... Sleeping on my friend's wooden floor is probably the worst (in a comfort sense) place I've ever slept though.
