Inspired by the recent news that the Teletubbies sun baby has now reached adulthood, what are your own super favourite Children's shows that you used to enjoy? We're talking anything from playschool through to those slighly rubbish Disney Channel pre-teen shows (looking at you Suite Life of Zack And Cody!)

Rugrats is probably my ultimate one. I still watch it now! Angelica was such a sassy little bitch.

Pokemon is the ultimate. Obviously the original Indigo League series is the best but I like them all. Every time I watch the Advanced Generation/Hoenn series though, I'm reminded of how incredibly irritating Max was drama.gif

Also agree with Rugrats <3 Also Spongebob. I love Adventure Time too but most of that show's audience is people around my age I swear laugh.gif

I agree with Thats So Raven and Spongebob. Funny how when it comes to Spongebob, Squidward was always my least favourite character by far as a child but now he is easily my favourite!

In terms of really younger days I was recently watching old episodes of Thomas The Tank Engine with my Nephew and I got a huge nostalgia rush (as well as being reminded of how I spent a while around age 5 thinking that trains may inexplicably burst through the walls of hairdressers).

But my main ones are probably two many to mention given my era was the proto-Internet era (I became a teenager in 2007 so basically any time before then). A brief highlights would probably be

Whatever Japanese Anime was 'cool' at that time (Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, there were probably more!)
50/50
Get Your Own Back
Dexter's Lab
Arthur
Rugrats
The Wild Thornberries
Tracy Beaker
Raven
That's So Raven
Recess
Art Attack

First 3 series of SpongeBob ONLY (they're the only ones that I ever see being rerun anyway, whoever decides which old episodes to rerun know their shiz).

Bear in the Big Blue House was the best thing ever back in the day tho ~

YES heart.gif Would've been awesome to take part tbh.

'Raven' and 'My Parents Are Aliens' were my after-school must-watch shows.

I loved Thomas The Tank Engine. The original series was amazing when Ringo Starr used to narrate it. I still occasionally watch an episode on youtube. kink.gif Shame they've ruined it with CGI. mad.gif

I think it's because you get older and start to hate everything and turn all cynical - we all morph from Spongebob to Squidward when we experience the crap parts of life laugh.gif

My ultimate favourite kids show HAS to be The Sarah Jane Adventures, although I think it was always a bit beyond a kids show heart.gif

Other faves:

Tracy Beaker (the original series, Tracy Beaker Returns wasn't quite as good)
Basil Brush
S Club's TV shows
Scooby Doo
Mona the Vampire
SMart (kinda tainted with sadness after Mark Speight's suicide though, RIP)
Best of Friends
50/50
Get Your Own Back
Raven

I was definitely a CBBC kid kink.gif

pokemon >>>>>>>>>>>> all your faves

that, alongside music video channels, and funniest home videos were basically the only things I watched as a kid on TV after I got too old for cbeebies/hi-5 (hi-5 used to be the shit when I was really young) Funny enough I never really watched or 'got' CBBC (or whatever the australian equivalent was as I was living there age 8 - 12)

there was also a period where my brother loved watching yugioh as well so I'd occasionally watch it too although it was shit. (inb4 Umi)

oh yes how did i forget that!!! although at the time i thought of it more as a doctor who spinoff than a kids show lol, although no way was it as good as proper doctor who (which I also really loved as a kid but wouldn't call it 'kids TV')

I completely forgot about these 2 ohmy.gif
Arthur is definitely one of my favourites and I still love it now if I am honest kink.gif
I don't really like doctor who or any kind of programmes like that but I was ill 1 day and they were showing the 1st couple of episodes of the Sarah Jane adventures and I decided to watch them as I was bored and I fell in love with it so quickly. That was such a great and entertaining show (and I think I saw most of the episodes in the end) wub.gif

Trapped is another one of my favourites and I also quite liked Friday download
