It's my flatmates birthday today also so we're heading out for a wee celebration later. Seeing my mum in a bit though. Got her some nice plants including a couple of climbers for the bit of the garden they have just redone.

My mum's into running now so we got her new trainers which are blue.

I hope no-one here hates their mum enough to give her Sam Smith's album. (gonna be #1 tonight anyway though :/)

My mum proudly bought it on release day funky.gif

My 'present' is paying for her Vamps concert ticket. Her birthday is in a couple of weeks and it was going to be for one or the other, she'll get something to open at the end of the month.

I got my mum Mark Ronson's album. She'd be offended if I went with Sam Smith. Her birthday is always just over a week after, so I tend to save her best present for then (March is also the month of my brother + sister's birthday so it's always quite busy + expensive in March).

This is the second year in a row that I've not spent with my mother! sad.gif Although I am meeting a family friend/'auntie' shortly and we're going to a museum and then cooking dinner together which will be nice. Hope everyone's having a lovely day so far!

Got my mum a handbag she'd been eying up for a while, which went down well! We just went to see 'Still Alice' and then going out for a meal at the Harvester in a little bit. I love treating her!

We went to the pub for a meal. I paid £30 towards it (which was just over half) and gave her a card. The dessert was immense though: Warm chocolate brownie with choc sauce and ice cream wub.gif

I phoned my mother yesterday to wish her a happy and enjoyable Mother's day. She doesn't normally expect a present and I'm not able to see her so that's it really, it sounds like she will have a good day with the members of my family who are with her.
