Ever tried kangaroo or crocodile meat? Well you can now, from Iceland. We tried them yesterday. The kangaroo burgers are lovely and tasty but I don't recommend the crocodile burgers and they're twice as dear. They were horrible.

Kangaroo burgers 2 pack - 220g - £1.50. Have 87% kangaroo meat.
Crocodile burgers 2 pack - 220g - £3. Have 80% crocodile meat

By the way, there are more kangaroos than people in Australia so they're not endangered and would overrun the country if some weren't culled for meat and hide.

Can't say the idea of trying one excites me, but I guess I wouldn't say no to one.

I've never tried crocodile, but I have tried kangaroo burgers. It's quite nice, albeit a bit bouncy.

I had a kangaroo burger at London Winter Wonderland last year, it was really nice. I like tasting different meats, but the (beef) burgers I've had from Iceland before haven't been very good quality, I don't think I'm tempted to try their croc burgers. laugh.gif

I picked some up earlier for tea, they're so nice wub.gif Texture wise they were like the step between a burger and steak imo, and the taste was a bit stronger than most burgers.
