Was never a big fan of the music he released ('Checkin' It Out' was probably the best single he released), but still very sad news. Thoughts with his friends and family.

I almost bought his album in Poundland the other day actually (that's not a dig by the way, I actually picked up Madonna and Kelly Clarkson albums instead). I adore 'Checkin' It Out' and 'Getting Enough'. This is a shame, especially at such a young age. sad.gif

'Checkin' It Out' was a tune.

Such a huge shock! Can't say I was a huge fan but this is really sad to hear, can only echo what's been said about how young he is too. What a shame, RIP sad.gif

Thinking about quitting music forever...there has to come a time eventually when I have to face reality. I'm just not good enough.

A tweet from March 3rd.

Only 24 years old, no age at all.

RIP Lil' Chris

So so sad at such a young age, and actually do remember "Checkin' It Out" back in the day and it was such a great catchy song, and also remember his Radio 1 Live Longue cover of "Sexyback" which was really good, and thought he was gonna be huge, but never quite happened and a year later I remember he had that awful cover of "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off", which bombed and well it's just another example of the record company chewing young talent up and then spitting them back out when they don't know what to do with them. Such a tragic waste of a young life.

I was one of the few people that bought his album and still listen to it occasionally. And it's really cheesy but I liked his Christmas novelty single a couple of years ago:

Such a tragic loss of life, I had no idea he was battling depression.
