Because exam stress always kicks in prematurely.

So, the torturous occurrence of exams are upon us in the upcoming months of course.

My A2 exams are as follows~

05/06/15 Media Studies
15/06/15 Sociology Unit 3
18/06/15 Sociology Unit 4
19/06/15 English Language B Unit 3

The last three are pretty close together, very much looking forward to that long final summer holidays before Uni! Luckily dropping Psychology in favour of Extended Project means that there is less to do than last year, although EPQ in itself includes hella stress.

Targeted A*AA and a B for Extended Project this year but that will be very unlikely.

Which impending ones do you have? GCSE/A Level/College/Uni/Work exams? What are you hoping to achieve?

I have a couple of exams in a couple of months or so but my course is mostly coursework cheer.gif cool2.gif

Also got revision notes along the way and shouldn't be too much of a problem at the time pirate.gif

This week has been so bloody stressful! It's at that period where you're expected to be revising regularly but you haven't finished the courses yet, so this crossover period is awful for the workload I've got! I've got a couple resits thrown into the mix too so I've got plenty to keep me occupied dry.gif

18.05 AS Psychology Unit 2 (Stress, Social, Abnormality)
20.05 AS British History (1945-94)
08.06 A2 Russian History (1855-1964)
09.06 A2 Psychology Unit 3 (Sleep, Intelligence, Aggression)
15.06 A2 Geography Unit 3 (Human & Physical)
16.06 A2 Psychology Unit 4 (Research Methods, Addiction, Schizophrenia)
19.06 A2 Geography Unit 4B (Skills paper)

Hoping for ABB out of those exams, despite only getting BCD this year so I'm going crazy but it'll all okay smile.gif

09/06/15 Psychology A Unit 3 (Gender, Aggression, Relationships)
15/06/15 Sociology Unit 3 (Beliefs In Society)
16/05/15 Psychology A Unit 4 (Schizophrenia, Addiction, Research Methods)
18/06/15 Sociology Unit 4 (Crime and Deviance with Theory/Methods)
19/06/15 English Language A (Child Language Acquisition/Language Change)

All in one week aside from psych unit 3 D: English is going to kill me as it's two and a half hours but at least after that it's all done... I'm probably the least worried for Sociology, not too worried about either unit but the fact they're all SO close together is stressing me out a bit.

French listening? Can you sit there and nod wisely as if you understand every word? Perhaps you could try the odd Gallic shrug as well biggrin.gif

I haven't got a physical timetable yet and am too lazy to make one myself (first exam isn't until the end of May so plenty of time ~) though I know I have 10 A2 exams coming up and 2 AS resits. Joyous.

I have done the first of two ISAs in Physics, only one of which will count to the A2. I think the first one went well enough but still some bits I wasn't entirely sure of in the paper so hoping the other one (practical Friday, paper Tuesday) goes better.

I'm really struggling to find the motivation to do Economics and am starting to feel like giving up on it and focusing my non-Maths attention on Physics, as I only need to get an A in one of the two. I really wish I could just drop both and focus all my attention on Maths seeing as that's what I'll actually be doing at uni, but ALAS the whole '3 grades required' thing prevents that pirate.gif

I did as far as 2004 in my A2! Was really quite weird even though the actual course didn't include much post-1989, it was largely just the Balkan wars.

I don't do any of them but I'm sure some history uni modules cover even more recently than that.

Oh gosh I very much remember the stress of listening and reading exams, although for me it was Spanish. The speaking I found much more nerve-wracking though. Hey, my dad's entire French speaking exam was "Bonjour" "Sorry I genuinely do not know anything else". so I'm sure you'll at least be able to top that!

Good luck everyone btw! And good for all those who are already revising! My current focus is coursework/Extended Project deadlines but I hope to at LEAST make a start in the Easter Hols, although I already foresee procrastination and putting it off until study leave.

I'm still working through the CIMA Professional Exams. I sat E3 on March 10th and F3 on March 19th. Luckily I passed both so I have one more exam and a case study left.

I'm sitting P3 on June 9th so will be joining you all in exam stressing this year! Really not looking forward to this one at all. Although it's only 90mins and it is multiple choice. (70% pass mark tho.)

Speaking exams are horrid, I always have these awkward pauses and eye contact with the teacher laugh.gif I just don't understand their accents in the listening so it's really hard for me to answer the questions sad.gif hopefully I can build that up before the 12th!

Good luck to you too happy.gif
