Hii. Ambitious thread alert, and hopefully one we can work together on to keep alive FOREVER!!1

The concept is simple ~ look at the song that came before and post a new song which links to it in some way. Try to be creative with your links. Your link can be as obvious as another song with the same name as that, it can be geeky such as the song that prevented it from getting to #1, a sibling/best friend/rival of the artist, or you could consider who wrote the song/directed the music video etc. and post one that shares a link that way. Basically ANY link you can make, but try to be creative if possible!

A few simple rules:
  • You can not post another song from the same artist as the one before you (so you have to really think about making a link)
  • You must post the new song AND provide the connection you have made.
  • Enjoy the music and hopefully make some new discoveries along the way!

For Qassändra: this is NOT spam so BACK THE f*** OFF mad.gif

Ready? *_*

Solange is of course Beyoncé's (protective?) sister and Beyoncé contributed to this 2014 smash:

'Say Yes' was an absurdly amazing song from Michelle William's most recent album "Journey to Freedom".

Don't Stop Believin' was covered by Glee multiple times, including as a Rachel Berry solo, and Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) also recently covered this on the show...

(her second best song, such a shame it never got a proper release but I implore you all to listen!!)

Poor brave Spamdam thread. wink.gif

But yes the Freemasons famously re-worked 'Uninvited'. The following is my favourite by them, very underrated! heart.gif

Tove Lo features on the Alesso track "Heroes". The X Factor finalists covered "Heroes" by David Bowie in 2010 and part of those finalists was Rebecca Ferguson so have this underrated gem

Kelly has a song called "Walk Away". "Walk Away (Remember Me)" is a largely forgotten mid-'00s R&B hit from Paula DeAnda (who would later disappear for seven years and turn up out of nowhere on The Voice US, without even managing to go past the battle rounds).

The best thing to come from The Voice (US, UK, WORLDWIDE) was this gentleman who's album really blew me away a couple of years ago. Still anticipating his return...

'Tyler' was the surname of Rose in Doctor Who, as played by former chart topper Billie Piper!
