Former Fame Academy and X Factor contestant Carolynne Poole will soon be releasing her debut single 'I Love You But Shut Up' and it was played for this first time on BBC Radio 2 today!

Check it out via BBC iPlayer Radio and skip along to exactly 53 minutes in!

Gives me Carrie Underwood vibes, would be fabulous if BBC Radio 2 decided to support Carolynne although I'm not sure I can see it happening.

Haha, it's not a great cover is it! laugh.gif But the main thing is that it's a great song! wub.gif

You can listen to it already if you go to the BBC iPlayer link in the original post, there's only 1 day left before it becomes unavailable so you need to be quick!

Playlisted on BBC Radio 2, so so pleased for her! Of course we all know her from Fame Academy originally and nearly 15 years on she's finally got a single playlisted on a major (the most listened to?) UK radio station. wub.gif

I like the song, it's harmless enough, but it's not bowling me over. She has a bloody fantastic voice, which is stronger now than it was back in her Fame Academy days and she deserves to do well, but I can't imagine her having any commercial success in the UK with this.

I shamelessly loved her version of Starships on X Factor too.
