The Boov are on the run from the Gorg and take over Planet Earth, but why!

MY RATING | 100%

My Thoughts

I Really enjoyed this. It's such a fun romp for the Kids or your whole family. The Boov were adorable, especially the one that always makes the Mistakes. I think we've all been in his position of making a fatal mistake or Trying hard to fit in and not quite making it so I guess this film would be easy for anyone to enjoy and appreciate. I cried, I laughed, I squeeled with joy and it made me appreciate My dog Milo a hell of a lot more cheer.gif I recommend this to everyone w00t.gif

Movie review thread.
SAN ANDREAS

Box Office | $307.8
Budget | $100-$110 Million (Inc. Marketing)
Profit | $192.8 (+/-$5 million)
Rotten Tomatoes | 49%
Cinema Goers Score | (A+ — F) A-

Summary (No Spoilers here kink.gif)

The San Andreas Fault Line moves and destruction ensues nation wide in America.

MY RATING | 100%

My Thoughts

I went into the Cinema to see this today with a sort a wariness about how it would be after reading some bad reviews and after how the last similar Disaster Movie (2012) wasn't as good as it could have been. Well my fears were stupid cause this was everything you could really want from a disaster flick and also the effects were spot on! There are scenes involving a broken family throughout the carnage and they sort of feel out of place and forced but it adds a little something to the movie and gives the characters some purpose.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good disaster movie.

PITCH PERFECT 2

Box Office | $259.7 million
Budget | $29 Million
Profit | +$249.7 Million
Rotten Tomatoes | 66%
Cinema Goers Score | (A+ — F) A-

Summary (No Spoilers here kink.gif)

The pitches are back and ready to take the world's trophy!

MY RATING | 70%

My Thoughts

I wasn't a massive fan of the first film but this was even worse. Only Fat Amy saves it. More or less. There were a few great bits but this movie felt all too familiar. Been there seen that in various other movies. The plot was incredibly similar to Bring It On which he is what kind of brought the film down for me.

Home I think. It was a great animation for the whole family however Pitch Perfect 2 was mainly aimed at teen girls so I don't enjoy it nearly as much. It was kind of like Bring It On tbh.

Jurassic World

Box Office | $524.1
Budget | $150 Million
Profit | $374.1 Million
Rotten Tomatoes | 70%
Cinema Goers Score | (A+ — F) A

Summary (No Spoilers here kink.gif)

A NEW HYBRID DINOSAUR INEVITABLY DESTROYS THE PARK BUT A WELCOME MYSTERY GUEST TAKES HER DOWN AT THE END!

MY RATING | 100%

My Thoughts
I didn't enjoy Jurassic World as much as I should have but I hyped it up to myself so much that it was always going to disappoint me Somehow. Thinking back to when I was watching it last night though I can safely say this is probably the best film since the first, maybe even on par with the first ohmy.gif and disregarding my hype for it, it was a thoroughly enjoyable thrill ride. I even jumped a few times (and we didn't watch it in 3D) so that's a bonus. I probably would literally have shit myself if we watched it in 3D!

Jurassic Park has grossed over $200 million already and that total so far only comes from its Thursday night previews and the Friday night totals from all markets it's been released in making it the highest grossing opener for the franchise (with one more day to go.) Jurassic World also marks the highest international Total sales for a Friday ever which is a great sign for box office numbers and will no doubt insure an obligatory shit sequel (I hope I'm wrong about it being shit).

If you were disappointed by the third film (which was absolutely terrible,) or even the second film you should really go and see this one because you won't be disappointed cheer.gif

EDIT : JURASSIC WORLD HAS GROSSED $524.1 MILLION ON ITS WORLDWIDE OPENING WEEKEND MAKING IT THE HIGHEST GROSSING OPENING WEEKEND FILM IN HISTORY.

Tomorrowland

Box Office | $196.2
Budget | $305 Million (+/- $25 million)
Profit | -$108.8Million (+/- $25 million)
Rotten Tomatoes | 50%
Cinema Goers Score | (A+ — F) B

Summary (No Spoilers here kink.gif)

IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT. Or is it?

MY RATING | 100%

My Thoughts\

I am absolutely gutted this has become a flop for the simple reason that I Want a Tomorrowland 2 sad.gif It's a very inventive story, leaving a lot to the imagination until the end. Stuart Little's Dad is in it but he's a dick and we all know what happens to bad guys kink.gif

I didn't go into this film expecting much because I couldn't really tell what the film was about from the trailers. That's probably where everything went wrong for this masterpiece. I'd recommend this to everyone.

STAR WARS - THE FORCE AWAKENS

BOX OFFICE | $890.3 million
BUDGET | $496.9 million (including marketing etc...)
PROFIT | $393.6 million
ROTTEN TOMATOES | 94%
AUDIENCE RATING A+ - F | A

MY RATING | A

The force awakens is nothing short of brilliant although it relies to heavily in Nostalgia and throwbacks to A NEW HOPE, nevertheless this is definitely for the ages. It's got everything and I even cried a little at the end. This Is the best film in the series yet which I don't think any franchise can say 7 movies in. I have no doubt in my mind that this definitely has the potential to reach or break avatars $2.7 billion at the box office.

I would have given this an A+ if it hadn't relied so heavily on pulling stuff from the original bit I Didn't penalise it too much either because that's part of this films charm!

EDIT | The bad guy just wasn't bad enough imo.
