Arsenal 1-0. Typical cagey affair.

I've put a £1 bet on Arsenal to win 3-1 at 8/1 with Coral.
Arsenal to win 3-1. |

Realistically I think Arsenal will win it. I would have preferred Villa to win it, but my head is telling me otherwise.

3-1 Arsenal.
Interesting trying to predict who'll start. Will Wenger stick with Szczesny as is tradition? I hope so, esp as Ospina has been really shaky this past month. I also think Giroud and Ramsey will begin on the bench, Walcott and Wilshere to start. |

I think this will be quite close actually. Don't underestimate Villa, Sherwood will get them fired up and they have a good few match-winners in their team. Plus, Arsenal hardly ever make it easy for themselves do they!?
I do think they'll win though, perhaps in extra time. 3-2 repeat of last year anybody? |

I've been supporting the gunners all my life, so I think its going to be an Arsenal win, probably 3-1 in normal time.
Btw is this the first FA Cup match with a 5:30 kick off time, normally its played from 3pm. |

I think Arsenal will win but I really hope Aston Villa can do it on Saturday, the amount of banter that i'll get from Arsenal fans if they win wont be good

Anything can happen, so I'll go for a Villa win.

It was a 5:15 kick-off in 2012,2013 and 5:00 last year. |

Yeah hasn't been afternoon time for a few years now.
So much better as an evening KO & of course now on its own weekend. Was stupid when they shoehorned it in the middle of s standard prem weekend for a few seasons... |

Have to agree, I also prefer evening KO, the champions league final is a week later on Saturday evening too. I don't mind watching football on a Saturday evening, when there is absolutely nothing else to watch on a Saturday evening. Over the past few years, I've grown to love a beautiful game of football in the evenings. |

I think having the final in the evening time makes the occasion feel more special. Also regarding the Champions League final being on Saturday's I think that is probably the best decision that UEFA have made in recent years.

Oh god. Just a few hours now. Starting to feel nervous. But also confident?
Anyway the Mirror are saying Szczesny will start, thank god. Predicted starting xi:: Szczesny / Bellerin, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal / Coquelin, Cazorla / Wilshere, Ozil, Sanchez / Walcott. That said it's difficult to imagine Ramsey not starting, but also difficult to see where he plays if Cazorla and Walcott both start... This post has been edited by jark: 30th May 2015, 10:22 AM |

Wilshere starting as well, I think Ramsey will start ahead of him. |

Giroud looks tired, hasn't scored in eight games. I'd bring him on with about a half hour to spare, unless we're down in the first half and Walcott isn't doing the business.

Anybody watching this then?
Pretty one-sided so far tbh. Great goal from Sanchez though! Really thought Villa would give them a good game but they've froze, especially first half. |
