?

So in terms of people you will form relationships~ with, what is your ideal/preferred age range. What ages can you see yourself with and is there any age (young or old) that you could not comprehend being with no matter who the person.

I ask because i am semi-starting to see a guy who is 18 (6 years my junior) and though i have no issues with that, others might frown at it or see it as strange (as they've mentioned to me happy.gif). He is LEGAL and very wise/mature for his age the age gap doesn't even cross my mind when i talk to him. If anything he is more mature than me from what i have seen lol. I'd say the age i would look between is 18-36 as i don't think i'd have much in common with anyone older than that if i was talking SERIOUS relations. For flings, we'll say up to 38~

I prefer older, I'd feel weird going out with someone younger than me, but who knows feelings and people and circumstances change, so really its just how you feel at the moment.

Good for you though!

I would say 25 is my comfortable maximum age. It would vary to each person so it would be a little more flexible but that is the general idea smile.gif

I have precisely zero experience in this area but I don't think you can go much wrong with the 'half your age plus seven' rule (so for me that's 17 - 26).

I think I'd feel weird going out with anyone below 18, so that'd be my lower limit. It's much harder to decide the upper limit to me as reasonably I imagine I'd be pretty open. That is: to flings more than a relationship really if they're significantly older. I don't think I'd have enough in common if they're that much older. For relationships probably the oldest right now I could see myself in would be 30.

Hmm age is a hard thing, because sometimes you just connect with someone regardless of their age. My ex is 25 now, and I am 24. She was about 5 months older than me, usually I tend to go for 20-24. But maturity can be a big thing, it just depends on the person really.

I usually aim for older than my little sister (1992) up to a few years older than me but that's really just a theoretical exercise until the right person comes along.

I really can't say what 'ideal' is. About the same age seems to be ideal, but I can't imagine myself being with someone as old as me.

Jester, if it's any consolation, you'd be too YOUNG for me laugh.gif

It's difficult because in terms of VISUALS I have little time for anyone my own age or older, but I couldn't be in a relationship with someone unless they were properly mature, level headed and basically wanting the same out of life as me. So I guess there wouldn't really be a lower limit in terms of capital f fun (as long as it's LEGAL, of course) but definitely 24 (maybe 25 if I'm being super generous) would definitely be an upper limit. I've never been with anyone older than me, which probably feeds into that of course.

I'm 21 (!!) now but I'd probably be okay with 18 year olds too. HOWEVER many 18 year olds are still in high school which would weird me out and is where I'd draw a line. Atm I have a preference for younger guys in general I think.

I'm 26 and because of my position in the community I wouldn't want to see anyone younger than early 20s. I do have a slight milf fetish though so I'd probably go up to about 45!

For me now being 18, I'd say for my own personality, preference etc. my oldest would be about 25? I'd probably prefer somebody who's more similar in age to me but it would depends entirely on the person.

The youngest would be 16, because that's the legal age tongue.gif At this age just being two years younger is a huge difference...

Ha! That means I can go for a 35-year-old. Result! laugh.gif

I did once turn down a shy, sweet early 20's lad when I was late 40's in a club, "My mate fancies you" moment scenario, by saying I was older than I look and getting on a bit, which really deflated him and he said age is just a number. I felt awful afterwards for saying that but I really was trying to avoid hurting his feelings (I didn't fancy him, so shallow of me, big slap!).
