Don't suppose anyone's watching/planning to watch from home this year via the BBC? Gonna try and catch Florence's set tonight (and probably Kanye's tomorrow just to see if he pulls it off at all). Dunno if there's as much acts this year I care about to watch much more.

I watched a bit of the Libertines and Alabama Shakes earlier, and heard Everything Everything playing on 6Music this afternoon at work!

Watching Mark Ronson's at the moment. It's very hit and miss, with "Bike Song" being the overwhelming miss. I wonder who'll they'll get to sing for Amy on 'Valerie', if they'll do it at all.

Great idea laugh.gif

I've been watching it for most of the evening. I'm watching Wolf Alice atm. Definitely looking forward to Florence later and, of course, Suede tomorrow yahoo.gif

What do you mean "to see if Kanye can pull it off at all"? ohmy.gif

I'd say he's the safest bet to put an almighty show and do exactly what Jay-Z & Beyonce did and shut the "haters" up once and for all with their set!

I meant as he's the most hyped performance of the headliners, it'd be interested to see if he, well, lives up to it! (probably phrased it wrong earlier) I'm sure he'll be great, or extremely standout/controversial at least

Anyone see Mary J Blige yesterday? By far the highlight of the weekend so far. 'No More Drama' was a massive Glastonbury moment with the crowd going absolutely wild and her looking so humbled by the reaction. Amazing wub.gif

Kanye was a weird performance. I really enjoyed it, and it looks like the crowd did too. But idk I was hoping for more I guess?

I watched Charli XCX's set earlier, I'm pretty sure she was out her face the entire time and possibly badly lip synced a couple of her songs too? huh.gif

I'm hoping some of you saw it as I'm pretty sure she tried to eat her mic at one point and her performance of Fancy was quite something rotf.gif

I enjoyed Alvvays and J. Tillman before. Belle and Sebastian were alright. Aside from them two I've been DECIDEDLY QUIET on the Glastonbury front.

I heard Kanye was picking cherries in the crowd though. Or something.

To be honest, it wasn't amazing. Most of it was good, but there was quite a lot of lulls, it felt like he was singing to himself sometimes and not the crowd, not making the most of the moment like Florence very clearly did the night before. For all the hype, I don't really think he lived up to it, his fans will be pleased but his nay-sayers won't really be converted.

Looking forward to the Chem Bros tonight! Dunno if I'll bother with The Who.
